Then the keyboard didn’t work initially. I took out the battery compartment (not an easy task—very flimsy), and when I reinserted it, the keyboard worked and has work since then (about a month). Given the cost, I would have expected a little better quality.

It uses cr2032 batteries, which is no big deal because nowadays they are a common battery. However finding where the battery goes and getting it open is ridiculously difficult. My old folio nearly identical to this one only needed to be “prayed” open using perhaps a knife. This one requires you to unscrew two microscopic torx head screws. I guarantee you won’t have this size laying around the house. Terribly hard to see and open the battery compartment.
