Keys fall off super easy not even dropped once and keys came off

I'm an Apple guy. I love the OEM Apple keyboard, how seamless it works, and how slim it is. You don't have to charge it separately, or pair it constantly, it just works. It's also $160! That's insane for an iPad that only costs $250! Now to this product. I was intrigued by the low-energy bluetooth and coin cell battery system. Right off the bat they checked off one of my complaints about other bluetooth keyboards. By not having to worry about charging the keyboard it makes it easier to keep the keyboard paired for use. In fact, the keyboard automatically turns on when I open the case so it actually functions just like the Apple case. Checkbox #2! The last check box is size. It's definitely thicker and bulkier than I'd like, but I would argue that it's probably more protective than Apple's variant. For that reason alone I give it 4 stars. I'm not a keyboard snob, so all I can say is that I'm able to type reasonably well. You'll have to try it out or read other reviews if you want to know about things like key travel. All in all for most people who use their iPad as their main computer and use it mostly for home use - dive in! This keyboard case is awesome! If you need to slide it in a purse or take your iPad to the gym need something slimmer - I might suck it up and go with the Apple Keyboard.

Logitech has repeated this design for a few years. This is just the size adjustment of this product to this year’s 10.2” 7th generation iPad. All in all, it’s the same as previous models, with textured vinyl exterior that’s great for gripping. Also featured is a pen loop that works with Apple Pencil AND the excellent Logitech Crayon device. The keyboard itself is NOT backlit, which was my only disappointment, but this allows it to run for several years on a pair of coin cell CR2032 batteries. While I like this approach for its simplicity, I really think this product would stand out if they somehow backported the backlit keys of their other folios with direct USB C (or even Apple’s Lightning) charging to compensate. The case protects the entire body and encloses over the screen for great protective properties and has two keyboard/screen angles to choose from that both magnetically clasp and activate the keyboard via Bluetooth. The magnetic connection/power setup is unique to these higher end Logi devices and works perfectly. It’s these little details that make this worth the extra investment vs. some cheaper Amazon alternatives. Works exactly as promised and fills a void for iPad enthusiasts that haven’t quite gone pro. A real winner for Logitech - Apple’s unofficial official third party accessory supplier.

I am giving this a 4/5 because it is quite clunky. However, it is barre none the best typing experience I have had for an ipad...far better then the Apple version. Despite it being clunky the product protects the ipad well. I also love that the battery will not be in use unless the keyboard is attached to the Ipad preventing any use of the keys accidentally. Great product and I recommend it.

I like that this protects the ipad and has a keyboard, the negative is the case adds thickness and weight. The keyboard has a nice feel and is responsive. Very long battery life up to a month with daily use. Logitech makes great products but weight added to an ipad defeats the purpose of being lightweight.

I got my mom a new iPad for Christmas. She loved it, but the one big problem she had was trying to use the onscreen keyboard. I decided to pick one of these up in order to help solve that problem. It worked like a charm! The case is very solidly built. This isn't some cheap $8 case you get from china...this is the real deal! This will protect your iPad plus make it a lot easier to use! It was very easy to snap the iPod in the case and get the keyboard paired via Bluetooth. Then, whenever you need to use the keyboard, it is right there. I found the keys to be very similar to what you'd find in a small laptop. They had great feedback and I found it to be very easy to type on. I have pretty big hands, and I had no issues whatsoever typing on it. If you purchased one of the new iPad's this year....this is the case you need to get for it! You wont be sorry that you did.

I absolutely love the Logitech slim folio keyboard. Having already tried competing keyboard cases and the Apple Smart Keyboard I can truly say that Logitech makes a superior product. The keyboard is not cramp and very comfortable to type on. Initially pairing the keyboard via Bluetooth was as easy as paring any other Bluetooth accessory. The magnet that attaches to the iPad is quite strong and the iPad feels secure. The IPad itself feels well protected and I appreciate the fact that I have a storage option for my Apple Pencil. The keyboard pairs quickly when reopened. Build quality is also great as all the cutouts are very precise giving easy access to all buttons and ports. I would without a doubt recommend this product as an alternative to the native keyboard

This tablet cover case lacks a few features that the Logitech rugged folio offers for only a little bit more. This case has an old school styled keyboard which is small and clunky. The rugged offers a keyboard that is more like apples but offers a more protective case. Also this keyboard is Bluetooth and states the battery will last for 4 years on a charge......only time will well with that. The rugged folio offers Smart Keyboard access so it uses those 3 pins on your iPad for a direct connection and a key board that is always connected. Disappointed that this case doesn’t offer what the rugged folio does just with a slimmer folio but this is not the case. It is thin but features are lacking.

The iPad is a great device that has changed how I use technology. This Logitech - Slim Folio Keyboard Case is a very functional addition that increases capability and flexibility while protecting the iPad. The case itself is lightweight and adds a little bulk over a standard IPad case. The keys on the keyboard are slim but well spaced. I would submit that this case would work well with a light typing workload. While traveling it would be convenient, as well. The case connects to the iPad through bluetooth and the battery is almost a non-issue and they are replaceable. Overall, it is a handy addition to the iPad though it does seem like it might not be for everyone. Obviously, this keyboard case is much pricier than a standard case. But, for people on the go, it might suit them very well.

This case completely covers the I-Pad. The pencil holder is a nice accessory. The keyboard connects via Bluetooth and is not lit. The keyboard is held in place by a magnetic when in the open position, the I-Pad has slight movement when using the touch screen. The viewing angle is adjustable to fit your needs. There is a row of short cut keys for quick 1 tap entry. There are no function keys on this keyboard. The keyboard is powered batteries.

Tried the apple keyboard at first and it felt uncomfortable. Plus it does not cover the back of your I pad. This case is an actual keyboard, it is light weight and protects your iPad all around. Also holds your Apple Pencil.

I have had this on my iPad for about 2 weeks now. When I first received it, I wasn't sure of the quality. Being plastic, I figured it would break easy. That was definitely not the case. Pros: The outer shell is a strong plastic with a really nice feel. I'm not sure what the material is, but I like it. My iPad cover was a standard leather portfolio-style case. This material doesn't slide on desktops easily which is good in my book. It seems really strong, but I did not do a drop test on it. I'm sure that I eventually will (just like I did with my MacBook Pro yesterday :cry), but I will wait until it is an accident and then report back. Upon setup, the BT paired easily and without any problems. Once the iPad is in, remove the battery drain protector and go into the BT settings. Select the folio and it is connected. The keys are spaced really well for me, and I like the feel of the keys. I am a 2-finger typist, so key spacing is very important to me. The size/spacing is about as good as you can get with a keyboard that isn't full size. The folio is very stable and holds the iPad in place. The magnets do a great job of holding the iPad up without slipping down. The opening for the camera is placed right and doesn't block the lens. Cons: I only have 2 cons, and neither one is enough to keep me from loving this folio. First, it only has a single viewing angle. I would like to have more than 1 because of the different scenarios where I am using the iPad at angles. But the angle of the folio fits most of my viewing angles. Again, a want, not a problem. My second wish would be the folio having backlit keys. Again, this is not a problem or a defect, nor is Logitech misrepresenting this case in any way. But I would pay more to have this keyboard/case combination with backlit keys. The downside to having backlit keys would be reduced battery time, so I understand not having them. This isn't really a con, but I am not using the Apple Pencil holder. It seems like it will hold it just fine, but I am too afraid of losing the pencil. Therefore, I can't comment on how effective it holds the Apple Pencil. Conclusion: I really like the Logitech Folio for my iPad. I have replaced my standard leather portfolio-style case for this one. I like the look, the slim design, and having a built-in BT keyboard that pairs easily. I highly recommend looking at this case.

Bought this keyboard for my son and he loves it! I was on the fence and almost bought a more durable carrier for kids but he finds this so convenient to type and it protects his iPad well.

Bought this today and I was able to pair it with my iPad 9th Gen right away. Keyboard is thin, iPad has protection all around, turns off when I shut the case and the holder for the Apple Pencil/stylus is perfect. Will amend my review in a month.

Easiest review in the world. Bluetooth connection is a breeze. The design is great. It is quite light. This is my third Logitech keyboard that I have used for different generations of Ipads. There is a pen/pencil holder (1st generation). The company is claiming a 4 year battery life based on 2 hours of daily use and based on my past experience with these keyboards, I am willing to believe it. I like the feel of the keys and the overall design is nice. There are shortcut keys that actually work. If you have never used something like this in the past, it is a must and the connection will take less time than you can imagine. You can easily turn your Ipad into a laptop with this keyboard set. BTW, it's shell is quite sturdy as well and gives good protection to your 7th generation Ipad.

Logitech makes great products. This keyboard does the job, also a nice cover for the Ipad.

The case worked really well for a non Apple product. My experience with Apple is there accessories always work flawlessly. That been said this product work without fault. The case had a good fit and the keyboard connected every time, very happy with the overall performance. The only real knock is that it can be a little bulky. If you carry it around for use as a tablet the keyboard is a little hard to use however if you setting a t a desk or table it works great
