This is a great keyboard and case combo. It’s hard to see the material quality online but if you get a chance go to a store and check it out. It’s a rubbery plastic non slip surface. Its nice overall. Here are the things that make it less than perfect. Connecting to via Bluetooth took longer than expected. Instruction were not as clear (after entering the pin #’s you have press “enter”, not noted in the instruction, my fault) . Typing on the keyboard will take some getting used to. It feels a little cram. I guess I’m too use to my laptop. Lastly, you can’t adjust the angles of the IPad when using the keyboard. I have a 6 year old who is doing video conferencing. The IPad needs to be below a 90 degree angle for the camera to see her but this case won’t support it. Overall I still recommend this anyone looking for a keyboard case combo for their IPad.

Apple is the king of thin and light designs, always pushing the boundaries in designing the thinnest and lightest products. For another company to use the word “Slim” in their product name carries with it the expectation that it’s going to be what the name implies: a slim device. This product is not slim. Take a look at the attached photo where you see my 3rd Gen 12.9 iPad Pro. The top photo is using Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio.The bottom is the Logitech. Slim is the wrong word to describe the Logitech. In fact when I sit the Logitech and IPad next to my MacBook Pro the iPad is now thicker and heavier than the MacBook Pro. I really want to like this product because it has some of the things the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio does not - backlit keys are the big one for me. This Logitech has a great backlit key design. A second wonderful feature of the Logitech is the keyboard key travel - it’s comfortable to type on and feels much better on the fingers than the Folio. I love the Apple Pencil holder - I can’t stand the weak magnetic grip Apple designed for this Pencil which makes it impossible for me to shove the iPad in my backpack and not have the pencil go flying. so having the strap to secure the Pencil to the device is great. The Logitech does not feel as flimsy as the Folio but this comes at a major trade off - the Logitech is bulky and heavy. My iPad is now heavier than my MacBook Pro It’s no longer comfortable to hold my iPad for long periods of time due to it’s weight. Sitting the iPad on a desk and using it for long periods works great, but this Logitech case robs the iPad Pro of it’s most useful feature - the portability.

I recently purchased a new iPad Pro 4th Gen and wanted to try out this case because I've tried previous Logitech Slim Folios as well. This version does not disappoint. The backlit keys seem a bit over the top for a Folio keyboard case but hey, they gotta add some justification for the price ;) This case complements my new iPad really well and it's built so nicely that it seems like it would be an official Apple product.

Good quality decent price works well no issues at all

I have absolutely loved this case. In is great in almost every way! The only complaint I have is that the Apple Pencil holder stretched out relatively quickly so I can’t use that awesome feature anymore. I wish there was a way to fix this.

Overall a good product that fell in my hand, just one update it needs to show the battery level somehow on screen on on folio. I am enjoying it. Wish I had opted for the touch pad too

Logitech invents the best stuff. I've never been disappointed. And the trend continues. Run out and get you one of these fast. Don't read any more reviews just go get it.

So I got the iPad pro 2018 version for Christmas and I also got this keyboard. Don't get me wrong its a great keyboard for the price. But it BROKE after 2 months, the whole keyboard did not break but 9 keys broke like the E,L,I,P,Q,etc. It some times turns on and works if I reset the keyboard, but now it is broken broken. Maybe it was just my keyboard because I don't see other reviews like this but I am not the only one with this issue, their are people that have this keyboard key bug.
