    This is a great camera! It slowed the computer down for what I needed it for. I was teaching online classes and couldn't run both the camera software and my class software.

If you aren't using any of the extra features in Logitech Capture, you don't need to run the program for the webcam to work. Otherwise, your computer may not have enough RAM to support two bigger software to run at the same time.     Wow… this was a let down. Maybe I got a bad one, but the video quality was horrible. Not clear or sharp whatsoever. The color was better and more natural than others I tested, and I liked the framing options. Audio was solid. But I could not get past the low resolution. Seemed very out of character given its capabilities and reviews. I returned this unit and did not exchange it.

      Hello, ChristmasElf! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the StreamCam! If you haven't already, I would recommend downloading our Capture software here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025141614 to change the settings on the StreamCam. The StreamCam does come out of the box set to 720p at 30 frames per second. This software will allow you to change the quality to 1080p at 60 frames per second. However, since you're using this on Zoom, Zoom does cap its quality at 720p unless your work is paying for the higher quality video. Thank you so much for the feedback on the video quality!   • Avoid on M1/M2 Macs for your sanity

    Just not remotely reliable on an M1 Mac. It seems beyond Logitech to make drivers that work, not to mention make rotation work as advertised. It takes far too much work to even establish which Logitech software you need, as it's not what the box says, and Logitech just decide to abandon software and move to half developed alternatives. Support are legitimately useless. For me it randomly will just start looping my audio for other people, which can only be remedied by unplugging, plugging in and restarting the meeting. There's no pattern to when it happens but it happens EVERY day at least once. By far the most expensive webcam i've bought and by far the least reliable, but didn't start showing these problems until return period was up.
