Logitech Webcam Stream

The Logitech webcam option is kind of flexible for custom adjusting bright and contrast level as well as the frame rate. I really like this webcam and it is worth to have.

MAC USERS AVOID. No M1 or MacOS 12 compatibility!

I was really impressed out of the gate. I used it (or tried to) on my 2019 MacBook Pro 16". Then I realized that some of the features of their app (Logitech Capture) weren't working (buttons not doing anything, features showing "Off" when they were "On", inability to control things, etc). I called technical support and they confirmed that their app is NOT compatible with the latest MacOS (Monterey) nor did it even even sound like they were planning to support it. Mind you, it's 2022 and Monterey came out in the fall. No excuse for that. THIS SOFTWARE IS WHAT ALL OF THEIR CAMERAS USE ON MACS (so, the assumption is you'd have this issue with ANY Logitech camera). In addition, If you have a newer Mac with Apple Silicon, the app will not even run. Tech support confirmed "WE DO NOT SUPPORT APPLE SILICON". Searching online confirms others have been complaining about this since the M1 machines came out. I have lots of Logitech products, I'm really disappointed, particularly given the Mac marketshare these days. After wasting several hours on this, I returned it. NOTE: Best Buy was very gracious as always; no issues whatsoever with the return, in spite of the fact that I could not get the camera back in the original box to save my life...

The camera is esthetically pleasing, comes with tripad, and can be set horizontally or vertical. The bad, the lens protrudes out too much and its no ideal if restinf on top of monitors for zoom calls too much light interferes with pixture quality

Great picture and great flexibility

I love that I can rotate to give either portrait or landscape views. I love also love that it it is USB-C and that it comes with a tripod for setting it on a desktop.

Had previously used Logitech enterprise grade webcams and actually think are better. This has had issues with its own Logitech control programs and also is more finicky than others with getting locked into Teams or Zoom as well as sometimes just crashing. This is across both Windows OS and MacOs so do not think is specific to systems. It's ok but I would not buy again.

mine could be defective

Apparently, I planned too far in advance because once given, the recipient found that her computer wouldn't recognize the camera, but since I'm outside of the return/exchange window, Best Buy will not allow me to return or exchange the item. Not sure whether the camera is defective or not. Just be sure to purchase and try it out immediately in case your camera, like mine, doesn't work!
