I went for the sleek mouse and should have gone with the fatter mouse I knew worked. No online information on trying to get this to work. Waste of money! Did not read review before hand. Should have!

This mouse looks great, is small and compact and simply works great. The only thing that took me a little while to get use to, is instead of there being a left/right click button on the top of the mouse, as on a standard mouse, you put your finger on the left/right side of the touch surface and then depress down on the mouse which activates a switch located on the bottom side of the mouse. This action gives your left/right mouse click. This is just a different feel and took me a little while to get used to, but once I did, it works fine. The windows 8 touch gestures works reliably and smooth. The touch scrolling and browser forward/backwards functions are very smooth too. I downloaded and installed the Logitech Setpoint software, which I'd recommend, it makes the scrolling a lot better/smoother and you can customize the gesture's too, but the mouse does work without installing the additional software using the standard built-in windows driver. I am running Windows 8.1. I tested this mouse on a completely white surface and to my surprise it did work, but with reduced sensitivity, but at least it does work, which a lot of mice won't on a pure white surface. Also tested it on a pure black surface and it works perfect on that. It doesn't need a hard surface or mouse pad, it works on almost any surface. I lay in bed using it right on my bed sheets and it works fine. I'm using a Surface Pro 2, which is a great computer with the exception that the built-in touch pad on the Type Cover is terrible, so I got this little mouse to use with it. This mouse slips right into a side pocket on my small sized computer bag I use for my Surface computer, so I always have it at the ready when needed. A lot of things I use the touch screen for on my Surface, but there are just some things done better using a mouse and gestures when using some of my Windows 8 desktop apps, and this little mouse does the trick perfectly for me!

The mouse is too small to easily maneuver around your screen naturally. Your forced to change the way you hold a mouse.

I bought 2 and have been using them for a couple of months. These are small and slim so they packed & traveled well. They have internal Bluetooth so there's no Dongle to misplace or take up a USB port. The best thing is they're USB rechargeable so I don't have to carry batteries everywhere. I usually plug them in to charge when I quit working but several times I have left them turned on overnight and they worked for another long day without running out of juice. They actually charge pretty fast so if it does die, just plug it in for an hour. It also has the ability to connect to two different devices & switch between them but since I use two computers at the same time, I have two mice. I absolutely love this Logitech device, I should warn you, though, they are sensitive to the touch. I still occasionally scroll up, down & sideways on accident.

Bought this little mouse today. It works beautifully. I was worried about the small size, but it feels nice in my hand and puts a lot of convenience just a swipe of the finger away. It feels better and works better than the larger touch mouse from a competing company and also does more than the other guys' device. I have this one paired with my Windows 8 tablet (super convenient!) and my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (it doesn't do as much on Android, but it's still useful). I don't think I've liked any mouse, trackball, or trackpad as much as I like this device. I will still have use for my stylus and S-pen, but I will be using this daily and loving every minute of it.

Size is good for travel, feel is just OK

Very compact and slim for travel. Fits in surface zip cover easily. The performance is OK, but the feel does not seem natural or intuitive even after a few months of use. Recommended as a BUY if portability for travel is important for you, otherwise there are better solutions available at Best Buy with similar Bluetooth features.

Works as described, just too small for me.

As with most Logitech products, this works great. Good quality product that functions as it's supposed to. I bought it to replace a 6 year old Logitech mouse (whatever model predated the MX, the same size and similar design). I initially purchased the MX Anywhere to replace it, but found it didn't feel quite as good as my old one. I came across this and hoped it would be what I was looking for. It's incredibly small, has a good amount of weight to it, and functions great. However, working on a computer all day, this is just too small. Perhaps this is best suited for short-term occasional use, as a backup in your laptop bag. I ended up with 2 Logitech MX Masters; one for the office and one for my home office.

Very nice, reliable Bluetooth mouse. Very compact, which makes it transportable and doesn't weight down your briefcase or occupy too much space. You do have to charge it more often than a lot of other Logitech mice out there. Attractive; may be too small for folks with big hands.

this mouse is worth the money as it is nice and slim while still having all of the functions of a regular mouse. With the internal Bluetooth capability to link without needing a USB dangle I was able to link it to my tablet without any problems! And I can slip it into a pocket and go.

    Horrible battery standby time

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This thing looks so sleek and professional, but the downfall actually is the more than compact size. I have pretty big hands and I do have the smaller logitech mice, but with this having no arch to really rest your hand on, it can get tiring to use. Also, the battery life. Boy was I disappointed there. It's great that it can be charged for an approx. hour of use just after one minute of charging, BUT, I had expected once I gave it a full charge to last for weeks, months maybe. Just after a full charge and testing it out for about 30 mins, I turned it off and let it set for a day. Came back, turned my surface on, turned the mouse on... and nothing. It was already dead from a day of setting on my desk. I'm going to take it back and get the Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse instead. It uses an actual battery and up to 1 year of battery life! Not sure what they were thinking in making this with such horrible standby time. Neat little device though.
