Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the keyboard responsiveness, battery life, protection it provides, ease of use, price, weight, stand feature, and durability of the case. They appreciate that the keyboard is light and compact, and the stand feature is very handy. Customers are negative about the expensiveness of the keyboard case, the added weight it brings to the tablet, the moderate size of the keys that require occasional caution, and connectivity issues experienced by some users.

I like the idea for a keyboard for the galaxy tab but it doesn't cradle it perfectly, it leaves a gap at the top which the case covers part of the camera. The plastic that holds the tablet cover access to the pen, if you need the pen to write some thing you have to take it off the case just to get the pen.

    Good Cover and Keyboard

I bought the Logitech keyboard/cover for the Tab S 10.5 yesterday. The tablet attaches to the cover at about 5 attachment points. This cover does not use the snap in attachment points on the back of the Tab S. Bluetooth easily paired the tablet and the keyboard. The key spacing on the keyboard is nice but a little small for my hands. In other words I will need to adapt to it. The cover has two positions: landscape with the keyboard exposed. and the cover can be flipped so that the tablet covers the keyboard. This allows viewing in the portrait orientation (like a book). The cover increases the weight noticeably. So hand holding the tablet in the cover for a long period is not likely. It needs to rest on something. In portrait orientation there is no detente or rest. In other words it does not support itself in portrait orientation. When I read books or newspapers I prefer this orientation. I rest the lower edge on something and support the tablet and cover with one hand. It would be nice if the cover supported itself on a table in portrait orientation. In landscape mode in the keyboard position it has nice slant for reading and keying. In this configuration it is easy to switch between keying and touching the screen. Once installed in the cover it is not easy to remove the tab. It is gripped tightly in the top corners and bottom. The good news is that it will not slip out of the cover. The bad news is that if you want to remove it and use the tab without the cover it is not easy to remove the Tab S. I tried to remove it from the cover and wimped out. I was afraid of breaking one of the plastic attachment points. The cover has a rechargeable internal battery. It comes with a USB charging cable but no wall charging brick. I have a charging brick with two USB ports that claims it will simultaneously charge an iPad and another device. But this charger does not provide enough current to charge the Tab S. I have to use the Samsung wall plug adapter provided with the Tab S to charge it. In other words if you want to use a dual port wall plugin you need to ensure that it provides the current voltage and amps for the Tab S. Or you need to have a separate charging wall brick to charge the cover. It would have been nice (and increased the cost) if Logitech provided a dual USB charging wall plug for the Tab S and cover combination for simultaneous charging. I was able to pair the bluetooth keyboard with my smart TV. So this keyboard can be used with any bluetooth capable device. Overall I give this a qualified recommendation.

    Love this keyboard cover

Just started using the Logitech keyboard with my Galaxy S. Love it. Looks sharp on tablet, keys are responsive, folds up nicely without too much bulk. It does add some weight but not really a problem. the stand works great, no problem using the keyboard and tablet on my lap. Easily folds down when you don't want to use the keyboard or for travel. And it was on sale, so even better. I looked at the Samsung keyboard, but certainly doesn't provide any protection to the tablet and have to remove the tablet to fold the stand down. All in all, a Great purchase.

I have been using this for a couple of months, and find it a nice product. The keyboard remains charged for a long time. The case is very stylish and does a good job of protecting the tablet. It is a little small from my hands but mine are large. There are some keys that operate the home and undo functions of the tablet,

Battery lasts a long time, keys are big enough, stand is at a great angle. The negatives are that it is a bit bulky and it is not the easiest to get the tablet out of the case when I prefer it without the keyboard.

As a lifelong GEEK (>50), this is one of the coolest accessories I've bought. Makes it as easy as a laptop to get around on the tablet. Actually gives extended life to the tablet, you maneuver around so much quicker.

    Battery dies, useless warranty

The 'lasts months on a charge' claim isn't accurate. When the battery dies and refuses to hold a charge... good luck dealing with Logitech. They say this device is 'no longer available' and refuse to help you. RUN FORM THIS DEVICE. It will be useless within a year and you'll be out your money because Logitech has no support for it.
