Muffled sound

They have TERRIBLE sound quality. It's definitely a muffled sound, like I have a blockage in my ear. I can't find any scenario where these would be appropriate. I bought them so my laptop, which is now connected to an external monitor, could use them during Zoom calls rather than the internal laptop speakers. I can't justify anyone buying them in any scenario. I'm giving them two stars because they do produce sound. Just not well.
