But for $50, they are excellent speakers. The sound is crisp and, even though the L and R are about 6' from each other, the sound feels like it is right in front of me. I haven't pushed the sub because use them mostly at night and in the basement directly under my daughter's room. I don't want to risk waking her up. You will have to navigate and manage wires with this. It's annoying, but it isn't enough to knock a star off of them.

I work in a law firm, but sometimes I’m the last one out (by a couple/few hours!) and I like to crank up my music. These speakers sound really good for the price! The only reason I didn’t give the speakers a five star rating was because there’s only one input and it’s on the rear of the subwoofer (under my desk). I’d like to be able to have the sound from my PC and external source plugged in. Again though, you can’t beat the price and the sound is great!

Great cheaper set
