I bought this system for use with a Gateway DX4870. The system is "plug and play". It includes a controller that sits on one's desk. The controller includes an on/off switch, volume control, a port for headphones (gamers), and an indicator light that let's one know that the sound is "on". It sounds great and for the gamers who like to feel the room shake when the simulator has a helicopter flying overhead, the subwoofer will gladly accommodate.

The sound quality is great for the price. I'm not an audiophile, so my requirements for sound quality may differ from what you might expect. the controller is easy to manipulate and small enough to hide on your desk without much distraction. the 3.5mm headphone jack is a nice touch as well. Aesthetically the speakers do look a bit dated (minus 1 star). Overall, I'm very pleased with everything about the speaker.

I bought the speakers originally just to have some sound for my computer after I connected them and heard how they performed I was very surprised by how good they sound. They do get a little distorted at max volume but I never have it THAT loud medium to medium high volume is more than enough. The subwoofer adds some thump to my setup but nothing crazy it sounds very good. Overall really good speakers, the price is just bonus points.

I had this same Logitech system at my shop for many years and it cranked out some great sound. The subwoofer compliments the two smaller speakers which have a sound port on the bottom. When I moved 100 miles away, I left this system at the shop. My local Best Buy had this same system in stock so I had them deliver it at no charge. It's an excellent system for the money and I would highly recommend it.

A way better sound than I expected for the price. L & R speakers are very well tuned to give a balanced, centered sound. The subwoofer adds a huge amount of depth for such a small box. Setting up was a bit confusing as mine didn't come with instructions but a quick internet search solved that for me.

I was building a computer for work and looking for an affordable sound system for listening to music. The price seemed right, and compared to everything else offered (in my price range) this seemed to be the best option. So far everything seems to be working properly and I am satisfied with the sound. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable sound system, whether it be to listen to music or any other general purpose for their computer or personal use.

To sum it up quickly, these speakers kick serious BUTT! (Had to put butt here because the A word wasn't PC enough for best buy) For this price i expected almost no bass and crackling sound. What I got was punchy bass and very clear audio sound. Pleasantly surprised and would buy another set, if I ever had the need for it. 100% support.

I recently decided to replace a surround sounds system that was about 10 years old. What I was looking for was something that took up less space on my desk and had the wired on/off/volume switch to place on the desk. This system is exactly what I was looking for. The speakers are not too big, but sound great. The woofer is about the size of most systems, but is under the desk and out of the way. I like not having to mess with or move the speakers to make adjustment to the volume or turn off/on.

Speakers sound really good. They are small so they don't take up a lot of space and the subwoofer adds good bass.

I replaced some older speakers that were decent quality, but these can go much louder. I like the fact that the size of the speakers and the wired control let you hide the speakers behind some pictures on our mantle and still adjust the volume pretty easily. But there's no way to fiddle with treble, mid-range, and bass. But for the price, I'm happy. The sound quality is really good, but they're not high-end or anything.

I bought this to plug my vinyl record player. Sounds great, especially the bass on it. The price is also really great.

For a beginner 2.1 system, these speakers are very good at this price point. The sound volume is high for an room or apt and sound quality is good with woofers. But, there are no inbuilt bass control, so you have to control the bass in your laptop or computer settings. There are too much wires running from speaker to control to woofer box, it tends to be messy. If you plug only the satellite speakers to your system, without woofer, the sound volume is very low. You have to have the woofer plugged in all time to get a good sound.

Excellent sound quality and affordable price make this set great for any PC

I can't believe what I heard when I got these up and running. I don't live alone so I decided I don't need the best, plus it was an impulse buy. Once I got these up and running I could not believe what I was hearing for how much I spent! No, it is not home theatre but for sitting right in front of the computer? Definitely more than $30 worth. The bass is not adjustable directly through the controller and there are other minor things I would change but hey, it totally exceeded my expectations overall.

Great sound from an inexpensive system and 2.1 channel. Brought in some old computer equipment including keyboard and mouse to recycle and got a 20% discount coupon to use on the speakers. Has a wired remote that controls power, volume and has a headphone jack. Plenty of wire for hooking to the computer and the 2 satellite speakers.
