It was easy to setup and has great range of frequency response - gets low & high frequencies. A small control box is included that contrils the volume with a little side knob and also has a headphone jack for quiet listening. I was able to adjust the quality of the music via my internal sound card and equalizer so you can get it right where you want it. I am a critical person so if I am happy with these then so should the average person.

No - but they are a significant upgrade from using stock laptop/monitor speakers, which is where they really hit the mark. I love the attached remote for adjusting the volume of the speakers themselves, which makes using them for other devices a breeze.

They're sturdy. I like how they are a 3 piece set and how the volume control is on a wired extra piece. I accidentally broke mine, my fault. So I looked around. I couldn't find another set with all the things I like. So I ordered the exact same set. I'm picky af when it comes to electronics, and these speakers are perfect.
