Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System, particularly the sound quality and bass. Many appreciate the ease of use, reasonable price, and ample volume. The compact size is also a plus for some, while a few find the number of wires to be a drawback.

    Big Boom for Little Bucks!

Quite frankly, I don't understand how this product can have any negative reviews, at least as far as the sound quality anyway. They sound just awesome for speakers this size and in this price range. For those of you who are using them with devices that don't allow you to adjust the bass and treble or have an equalizer with preset and/or adjustable settings, I feel sorry for you because you'll never know just how good this 2.1 system is. It's not just a great option for a PC or laptop but for a TV or anything that accepts this size speaker jack. Something to keep in mind: Please adjust the volume to its highest level on the little toggle and power control that comes with the system. Then adjust the volume (and the settings if you have them as I've said previously) and you should be good to go. Obviously, I don't know anything about the durability of this system but according to most of the reviews I've read before I purchased them, I don't have anything to be worried about!

I find myself to be somewhat of an audiophile. I try and research other products to get the best bang for my buck. As people know certain songs will sound different when being played through different speakers. The Logitech Z313 does an excellent job at capturing highs, Mids and Lows. For a 2.1 sound system I would certainly say that this is a best buy. The unit comes with enough wire for you to space them out, a 4" sub woofer that believe it or not packs some really nice bass despite its size and 2 high quality speakers. The unit also comes with a mini control pad in which you can adjust the volume, plug a headset into and power the device on/off. The only thing that I wish could have been added was more control for the sub woofer. Their is no way to actually adjust the sub woofer outside of Windows and we all know the control panel for adjusting the bass/frequency in a Windows OS isn't the best. Occasionally at low volume, the bass will overshadow the sound sometimes making it a bit harder to hear. Despite that, I would recommend these speakers to anybody in the market for a pair.

I replaced my older 3 piece sound system with this Logitech system when the 2nd of 3 speakers finally failed. My old woofer was quite a bit larger in physical size, so I was amazed at the bass response in Logitech's compact sized system. The desk speakers sound crisp and clean as well, making for a full sound experience. The control pod also makes it easy to instantly adjust the volume.

Good Budget Speakers for Non-Discerning Listeners

There are 3 things I like about this Speaker System (2 would not be enough and 4 would be too much) 1) Control Pod 2) Fills the room with better than expected bass sound. 3) Uses the PC earphone jack. The control pod has 3 functions for the speaker system. 1) Power on and off. If it is not turned on (with green light indicator), then there are no sound (easy). 2) Volume control. Very handy because I don't have to reach over and look for the volume control on a right speaker where they would normally be on a system that do not have a pod. 3) Headset connector. Another good feature because I do not have to plug my headset into my PC (which is already being used by this system). The pod's volume control can also adjust the volume of your headset if your headset does not have volume control; although went you try to adjust the volume of your headset by this method, the changes are very minimal. Adjusting it using with your PC's volume control gets greater results. The sound coming from the wooden subwoofer, and satellite speakers are powerful enough to fill my bedroom and through my closed door and through the floor to downstairs thanks to a 4-inch down-firing driver and a front bass extension-port (when cranked up you can feel it shooting pulsating air) When I cranked the volume up to maximum, I can detect a little distortion which sound a bit blurred and muffled. Unfortunately, there are no bass or treble controls which would help in reducing the muffled sound when you turn the volume up to watch a movie (the whispering are hard to hear and the shouting are hard to understand). Fortunately, I can plug my headset into the control pod and (surprise!) everything sounds clear as though I'm in a cinema. Music, especially instrumentals, with mid range being more prominent than the rest of the frequencies is where this system excels in. The bass will deliver a punch that you can feel which is more than I expected from a budget speaker system. The set-up is easy and there is nothing to download. 1) Connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer. 2) Plug the power from the subwoofer to the surge protector. 3) Connect the control pod to the PC's earphone jack.

Great speaker set for a great price

This set was the perfect add on for my husband's new high-end gaming CPU and big 4K screen. It had a nice small footprint but big sound for the size and price. His office is only 11x11 feet so this amplified the sound without blasting the rest of us out of the house. LOL. And it's capable of much more volume with good sound integrity.

Amazing Sound for Less Than $100 bucks

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I'm a professional commercial-film editor, so I'm used to hearing audio from high-end audio monitors specifically for making mixes for film productions. So my standards are higher than the average consumer because of my job. But I have to admit for the money this Logitech Z313 sounds AMAZING. Seriously, for less than $100 it's surprising how good it sounds. Could I use it for creating mixes for film or video? No, and you shouldn't expect they could. But if you're tired of just the tiny, yucky sounding built-in speakers in laptops or all-in-one desktop computers with teeny-tiny speakers that are easily over-driven then this setup is PERFECT. I will say there are several dozen or so options out there for other computer-specific speakers ranging from as little as $20 dollars up to several hundred. Let me give you some advice from an audio professional: Unless you NEED ultra-high precision monitors to do audio editing of any kind, DO NOT spend more money than what this system costs. You're really not going to get anything that sounds markedly better, you'll just be spending more money and thinking it sounds better - because you spent more money. Get this set and enjoy it, it's quite enjoyable.
