Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System, particularly the sound quality and bass. Many appreciate the ease of use, reasonable price, and ample volume. The compact size is also a plus for some, while a few find the number of wires to be a drawback.

Very cute. Very decent sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I jUST took delivery of these speakers and hooked them up within 2 minutes. The sound is quite decent and they're attractive too. One thing I thought was odd, but turns out will be VERY convenient - with the speakers is a unit connected to them with a volume control, on/off switch and headphone jack. I've never seen that before on computer speakers and my raised eyebrow came down to join the other when I realized that I don't have to unplug the speakers to use headphones, plus I can turn the system off when it's not in use, thereby saving on electricity, and it's all within reach. Very handy. Headphone jack works just fine - note that the computer volume controls headphone volume, as these are not affected by the volume control on the little power/volume unit. The setup/troubleshooting sheet that comes with it points this out, so it's not a complete surprise. I think the sound is great, but then I don't have really high expectations for speakers at this price. It's light years better than what I was getting out of my laptop without speakers and that's all I needed.

Very Suprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought these today and I was blown away by their performance. These are much better than any $80-100 speaker set you can buy nowadays. I'd say these are even better than the 5.1 surround system by Logitech, since most people tend to put the 2 rear/side speakers in front of them too. With proper settings they are on-part with the low-end Bose sets you can buy... To get perfect quality, set your equalizer to increase base SLIGHTLY and Treble all the way. You're going to love them. The only problem I have with these speakers is that the volume control is not physically on the speaker system... it's a "remote" coming out of the subwoofer. Useless wire if you ask me but tolerable since Windows 7 volume control is so easy and most keyboards have volume control too.

Good Price for Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers more than met my expectations. The sound far exceeds that of the factory speakers I previously used. One neat thing that I noticed is that if you position them on each side of your monitor or in my case monitors the sound comes from dead center. I'm astounded by this. My only gripe, and I use that term loosely, is that the speaker wiring is a bit of a mess. The wired remote is kind of a fail. They should have had a knob on one of the speakers. One more thing, the sub woofer packs a pretty good punch, but should have also come with a knob. BUT THIS IS TOTALLY WORTH THE BUY... for the money. I got them for 39.99. Caution: If you do in-store pick up WAIT for the confirmation email. I waited for more than the 45 minute wait time. I couldn't even get them from the shelves. I had to wait until the purchase was confirmed. Weird.

Amazing Budget Speakers!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW! I'm amazed by these speakers. As a professional audio engineer, I can share with confidence in that these speakers produce clear and full sound. Yes, they don't blow the roof off of the place in terms of volume, but they sound great at modest volumes. I'm amazed at the frequency response in the 100-200 hz range. I have these hooked up to a mixer so I can run all of my components through them. My explosions on Call of Duty: Black Ops, really sound nice through the subwoofer. If you are using this system with iTunes, select the "Hip-Hop" Equalizer settings (under window) for best sounding music. For $35 they just can't be beat if you're in the market for budget speakers.

Clear, and surprisingly powerful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have come to expect a good quality product from Logitech. These speakers are replacing a set of Logitech Soundman X2 that I have had for years. Other Logitech products I use include a Pure-Fi Anywhere iPod speaker dock, G15 gaming keyboard, G9x gaming mouse, and a Momo force-feedback steering wheel/pedal set. I'm really happy with the Z313. The satelite speakers don't take up much desk space, nor does the subwoofer, yet the sound belies the size -- very clear and powerful. Explosions in games produce a deep clear thump from the subwoofer -- no fuzzy or distorted sound at all. The corded remote/headphone jack is an added bonus. I put the remote on the LCD monitor base so it doesn't take any additional desk space, and it's perfect for controlling the volume, on-off switch, and using headphones. These speakers are definitely worth the price.

good sound for the money !
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is probably the fifth set of computer speakers ive gone through, bought some phillips before, they never seemed to last, the hookups are just bad, i saw these on-line, having dealt with logitech before I thought it would be worth checking out, so I get to the store and they had them hooked up so i could listen to them, man, I was impressed, really nice bass sound, the subwoofer is pre-set so you dont need to adjust it, speakers look nice as well, theyre warranty is for two years rather than the usual one, all in all, if your like me and you dont care to fork over $ 250.00 for a set of computer speakers than this set-up wil do just great.

Very nice speakers and a decent price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers to replace an older different brand set that would really crank. With this subwoofer being smaller than my old one I wasn't sure what to expect but this one will put out some good bass sound. The satellites are very light but attractive. Very nice sound overall and I put them through the test of my music library ranging from metal to country. All types of music sounded great. The ONLY negative is that the whole idea of having the volume control in-line with the audio cord between the computer and the subwoofer is kind of lame. Plus that cord is hardwired into the sub - I don't like that. It would be nice to be able to disconnect the wires if I ever needed to. It was a little awkward finding a good place to run that cord so the volume control would be accessible without sticking out like a sore thumb. Other than that - great set of speakers! Great output which blows the cheaper ones away. Sound is comparable to the much more expensive speakers for a fraction of the cost. You can't go wrong with this set!

Decent speakers for $34.99
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before buying these speakers because I wanted to replace some speakers that came with my desktop. They were good and produced sound clearly and loudly. However, the cable broke for one speaker so I could only hear from one. Also, I wanted to buy some speakers with bass. I originally wanted some for my LG LED, but they were too expensive. Computer speakers seemed like the alternative because I rarely watch any TV except only when I hook up my laptop to my TV to watch something. Logitech seemed to be a reputable company, so I decided to focus on this brand. Too many options were out of my price range. I had to look for something within the $50 range. This speaker system from what I had read from reviews was a good system to buy. Long story short, these speakers offer a decent amount of sound that is enough to fill a medium to small sized room. The sound becomes somewhat distorted when put to full volume. Also, the the bass becomes more boomy, drowning the sound out. Plus, from a distance the bass can be heard more than the sound from voices. Don't get me wrong these are some good speakers for the price. Don't expect to get the world out these. They are best at half the volume. Somewhere in the middle because it strikes a balance that makes sound clear. All in all, if you want to upgrade from a two-speaker to a 2.1, you can't go wrong with these speakers.

Good cheap speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for inexpensive computer speakers < $50. At first I was going to purchase the Z323's. But side by side comparison at Best Buy revealed that the less expensive Z313's sounded better. Better balance between treble and bass I think, probably because you CAN'T control subwoofer volume and ruin the balance. In retrospect the Z323 probably would sound better after resetting EQ on the pc. I use the Z313 in a very small bedroom office . These are plenty loud for that purpose. I use them primarily to listen to iTunes music and YouTube videos. Most likely you will need to reset the EQ profile on your pc or laptop to get the right sound. I set the EQ in iTunes to a "horizontal S-curve" profile and they sound pretty good for $35 speakers. There is NO subwoofer volume control. You can only control total volume. Adjust bass levels using the pc's EQ settings. Note: when unpacking the subwoofer, the speaker driver is on the bottom of the unit and it is unprotected... don't stick your finger through it. You should not expect these to sound like $300 speakers. You get what you pay for.

Great speakers but that buzzing noise....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So there isn't much to say about the speakers. They work really well. Beyond my expectation they give nice audio quality. And i'm pretty demanding for my audio quality. And they are easy enough to move around in tight spaces. The wires get everywhere but that's to be expected because of my set up. My only problem is that the speakers, even when turned off have a low buzz or humming noise. I can't hear it during the day but at night before bed it's just loud enough to be distracting and annoying. It's the kind of noise that once you hear it, you will not be able to stop hearing it. But the solution to that is a simple one, if the speakers are in your bedroom and you can hear the buzz just unplug them. It's easy and simple to do. Problem solved enjoy your good quality for the price speakers

Good Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's really easy to set up and the speakers are very loud and good. I like a variety of music, and the bass is really good on dance, hip-hop, and rap. However, sometimes the bass is overpowering on some youtube videos. Also, there is some feedback from phones because the wired aren't protected (similar to what you might hear in a car). For the 30some dollars I paid on sale, definitely worth it.

After owning these for over a month now, I can safely say to those on the fence whether to buy or not...BUY!!!!!! This will easily be the best $40.00 you'll ever spend! The sound quality is awesome and the power that these speakers yield is phenomenal!! As one who is very particular about sound, I can safely say these are the poor man's Bose!

Good speakers for a very good price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these speakers right before heading to college. They are mostly used as my personal speakers in my room and they work extremely well for my usage. I love music and listen to about every genre, the speakers are always going. The sound quality is great at all level, but gets a little worse when you max the guy out. With that being said, they do get loud enough to get a house going, sometimes they make their way downstairs for parties, and while being just a little on the quiet side, get the job done. I plan on picking another set up for my brother for his birthday. These speakers are nothing amazing but are just good speakers, simply put. Highly recommended, especially for the price point!

Good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't a bass monster despite the included sub woofer. Don't expect mind blowing audio and settle for good audio and you will be satisfied. The bass is pretty subdued, but if you're adding this in place of PC monitor speakers, you will be blown away. The bass isn't bad, but it doesn't "hit". The 2 part of the 2.1 system sounds very good and I have no complaints. You're getting a good value and really great performance for the price. If you want audiophile, spend a few hundred bucks more. When I don't feel like wearing my audiophile headphones, I switch to these and enjoy the small and room filling sound. These are pretty exceptional for the ridiculously low price they sell for. Most will be satisfied, few will complain. The exception is audiophiles that demand the best.

Amazing product: Cannot beat it for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Packaging is great as the amp comes in a little baggy with handle to easily pull out of the box. Wires are long in which you can set speakers pretty far if you pleased. I was stuck between this option and the $25 option and chose the Z313 because why not get a little more for $10. It’s an unbelievably great sound and volume for $35. I have JBL speakers as well and just can’t believe you can get all this for $35. If you’re considering getting this for your computer which is what I’m doing. I highly recommend. You cannot beat this for the price. Very well done Logitech. I’d love to represent your company in someway. Safe to say I’ll be buying more Logitech in the future!
