Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System, particularly the sound quality and bass. Many appreciate the ease of use, reasonable price, and ample volume. The compact size is also a plus for some, while a few find the number of wires to be a drawback.

I was reading the reviews before buying these and decided to try them out. They really do sound great for $40. I at least expected the sub to be mediocre, but it even puts out decent sound. These also get louder than you might think, and are stable at a pretty high volume. The only thing I don't like about them so far is the headphone jack is just a straight through connection. In other words, the volume wheel doesn't control the headphone volume. My sound card kicks out a pretty weak signal in the first place, so the headphones are quiet, and there's no way to turn them up. Other than that, these are definitely worth 40 bucks.

I am buying this speaker set again because it is an excellent product. They haven't changed the look of it in over 7 years(it finally started popping and crackling and sound fading in and out) my husband took it for his man cave to plug his cell phone into it while he was working and it worked for him for another 4-6 months) Now he wants me to buy 2 sets of the Logitech speakers so we both have a set!!! GREAT SOUND WHEN WATCHING MOVIES ON MY DESKTOP WHILE DOING MY BILLS OR CRAFTS!!! Very easy to set up: Just plug it into the wall and computer and set it as the default speaker output!!!! Volume control is right on speaker so you don't have to get on floor to fiddle with the bass cabinet!

I absolutely agree with the majority of reviews for this product. For $55-60.00 (with tax) these speakers will more than impress you. The subwoofer provides rich bass sound, no distortion, the sound quality is very crisp and clear. The setup is super easy and the control pod has a jack for headphones. Definite thumbs-up on this one.

I bought this because I listen to music on my iMac, and I wanted better sound quality. I am very satisfied considering the price. I can hear and maybe even feel the bass most of the time. I don’t plug earphones into the unit, because the sound quality is better if I plug the headphones into my Mac. I didn’t buy this to plug in headphones anyway. I think the unit makes a slight humming sound when left plugged in; it’s only noticeable to me at night. So if you are going to sleep in the same room you might want to unplug it. This unit isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty good considering the inexpensive price. So far it has worked every time I turn it on.

I'm not actually using this as PC speakers, but rather as a boombox replacement using a portable CD player. Hook-up is easy using the standard headphone jack of any portable music player or soundcard. I originally looked at iPod docking stations as a solution, but found them rather pricey, especially since I don't own or use an iPod. The sound of these speakers is quite impressive considering the small size and price. The wired "remote" is not as useful as a wireless remote, but has the important volume and on/off controls. If you're thinking of using this as a portable speaker solution, note that the subwoofer is a bit heavy and the speakers "pop" when you plug the unit into an outlet (but not when you turn it on/off with the switch). Overall I'm quite happy with the value of this product.

wow!!! I had read the other reviews and based on them I went ahead and bought these speakers and im glad I did.The overall balance of the system is excellent with very nice base and clear mid and upper ranges. My son has a hundred fifty dollar system on his computer that sounds a little better than these do...but not by much....i would definately recommend these to anyone who wants a value priced speaker system with excellent sound and quality...

I purchased these for my parents to pair with an Amazon Echo in their bedroom. I didn't expect to be as satisfied by this purchase as I was. Paired with their Echo, these produce a wonderfully warm & rich sound while listening to Pandora. An entirely balanced or crisp listening experience shouldn't be expected at $30, but they're noticeably better than most other units on display under $50. The bass cannot be adjusted, but we didn't find this to be an issue. For such a compact set-up, these can get very loud even at half volume. I'd recommend these for any desktop or small dorm set-up.

If you are looking for a great sounding speaker system, with today's design... Then look no further! I was amazed at the quality of sound these produce. And the subwoofer is no scrub. If I wanted a better system, I would hook it up to my $1200 amp. Inexpensive way to listen to music as you surf or do homework on your desktop, or laptop computer. Logitech makes some great stuff!!!!

Great for connecting to a T.V.!

I blew the speakers on my television but didnt want to spend $200 on a home theatre system. I bought these and hooked them up, and immediately I was impressed. They fill up my living room quite well; especially for the price of $39.99. The only thing that I would recommend is using a rca adapter. The adapter allows the speakers to reach their potential. However they work fine without one. And keep in mind, using the auxialry allows you to control the volume with your tv remote, but if you choose to connect via RCA, you will only be able to use the control pod to adjust the volume, seeing as there is no remote. Otherwise this product is great.

    Best, far better than Insignia

This is the best for the price, period. I bought this one and the one by insignia which is the same price. Returned insignia and kept this. This has the best build quality, great bass, rich mids and treble. The only con is it doesn't get as loud as Insignia. But, unless you are in a noisy environment this is more than loud enough. Insignia also had a better surround sound. But, the logitech model was best for the price, build quality and sound quality. Insignia won't come even as close as this in the sound quality. Go buy this. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical when I bought this that it would sound, let's just say it, cheap, like other things I had tried. Boy, was I WRONG! This is an AWESOME set of speakers!! It took my little tinny-sounding laptop and made it sound like a STEREO! It has a volume control and I don't even have it turned up very far and it's perfectly loud enough when I'm sitting at the laptop working. But you can turn it up if you're working in the area of the speakers and it sounds GREAT! Definitely worth the money!!

These speakers pack some power... have pretty clean dynamics, and for something new on the market, are a fantastic deal for the money. I just went back to these from a less-enthusiastic purchase of Bose computer speakers that sounded (to my ear) no better than these but didn't have the power of this set (and were more than three times the price of these). I am grateful to the Best Buy employee who steered me toward these. They're not home stereo quality, but loud enough and sound great for sitting at my desk. Highly recommend.

For less than $30 you just can5 go wrong with this 2.1 speaker setup. I thought I was going to just get by with these as sometimes I don’t want to wear headphones for gaming and music. After hooking them up I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and volume level I get from these. I put the “subwoofer” under my desk and it easily puts out enough to make explosions and gun fire sound excellent. Are they audiophile or will they blast you out of the room? No, but for the price I highly recommend them!

After reading the reviews from other people on here that wrote, I got out of the house and drove to best buy to pick up these speakers for my sons computer because his old ones never really worked well. Well I must say they sound a lot better. We had to have him turn the volume down because the base was rumbling the walls.. Thank you best buy!!

Just purchased these speakers as an upgrade to my original HP speakers. As per other reviews, they are a bit heavy on the bass end. My main complaint is that they emit an electric buzz when not in use, even if they are turned off. You have to unplug the subwoofer unit to get them completely silent. Not convenient if pluggen in behind your couch or whatever. Also, take care not to stick your fingers through the subwoofer speaker which is located at the bottom of the unit, and has no grill protection whatsoever. Not a great design. But, for the money, these are really good speakers.

I just bought these today and they are amazing deal for the price. I compared with other speakers, there was Insignia speakers and subwoofer for same price but they sounded weak compared to these. These sounded like $50-70 speakers. I haven't even turned them up pass 30% volume and they are vibrating my desk and floor. Great product!

Got this on sale for $40 I think. Good sound for a small, inexpensive system. Pros: clean sound, decent bass, headphone jack on wired remote. Cons: no separate bass volume adjustment
