Overall, the sound was fantastic. Deep bass, rich sound. Easy to use. Filled the room with sound. However...product did not last long. Had to replace with a Z200 because the cord/adaptor that plugs into the laptop caused feedback. Attempted to augment with adaptor, even used another laptop- same results.

Hello, I am sorry to hear about the issue you had with the speakers. Those speakers did come with a 2 year warranty through Logitech so we could have replaced them for you. Your new set, the z200, also come with a 2 year warranty should anything happen to those. Here is the link to file a claim, just in case: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024927154-Warranty-Multimedia-Speakers-Z200. I am on my second set of these speakers within MONTHS and now ready to return again. Thought the initial issue was just a fluke. Same thing happened to the second set. The system sounds great initially, then one speaker starts malfunctioning. All you hear is static or clicking sound. It's so annoying as you are trying to listen to music that you have to turn the volume way down to try and hide the disturbing static, etc. I will be returning these again and now going with another brand. Very disappointed.

a definite improvement over my laptops speakers, and the quality of construction seemed quite good as well. however, since these are speakers, what matters most is the sound. the bass is just ok, the volume is just ok, but the overall sound is very muddled. take a pair of average speakers, lay a blanket over them, and that's what these sound like. when you are in the store, listen to the insignia 3 piece set, the sound is much better, much more clean. I returned these and bought the insignia set and love them.

The speakers perform well. I don't care for the wiring layout or the length of the wires. All the wires are super sensitive to touch. If they get touched they sometimes hum loudly. Sometimes create that scratching sound. The wires are too short. Other than these issues, everything else is great. The ports for headphones and mic work well. The volume dial is great. The sound is great. The additional base dial is OK. I just don't care for how fragile and sensitive the wiring is. It's caused me several headaches. I would recommend not purchasing this specific system. It's not bad enough to return, but it underperforms the basics.

Logitech is normally a very good brand. The law of averages was bound to apply eventually, and here it certainly did. I bought these speakers for my PC. They crackle and pop whenever somebody starts a microwave, or a car nearby. I can hear CB Radio traffic from truckers on the nearby highway (do NOT let young children in the room when these speakers are on!). Is that bacon frying? No, that is the PC speakers sizzling. You can tell because the aroma of bacon is not wafting through the air. The curved design looks cool. But they fall over rather easily. I bought a plug-in capacitor from Amazon to correct the problem. It made the sizzling go away, but not the loud, unexpected pops. Now, my wife startles rather easily. The unexpected pops are causing a wee bit of a problem. I am probably going to come home and find them out in the yard one day. If I had a do over, I probably wouldn't buy these again. I had bought another model of Logitech speakers for my basement PC, and they work terrific, and cost a lot less from Amazon. These, sadly, aren't those. I really expected them to be.

I'm not an "audiophile"....but I know what quality sound should sound like. And these speakers just dont deliver. Let's put it this way....they are better than nothing. Or the crappy ones youd get with a computer back in the day. But these ones arent that great. The bass is either too much, or non-existent. Sounds like they are always muffled. The Creative brand of speakers I had for 15 years before these sounded way better. I had to get new speakers cause the volume knob was going bad. So I got these middle of the road speakers and I wish I didnt throw the box or receipt away so i could return them. Nothing against logitech...but this particular model of speakers just dont do it for me at all.

    Odd Execution

I checked out a few different desktop speakers in the store, and these were the only ones that met all of my need (decent power, vol adjustment for subwoofer, input jack and headphone jack). They sound decent enough, but still tend to be either too boomy or too hollow, and somehow both at the same time. But it'll suffice. The price was decent. The main problem with these is the odd execution of the volume knob for the sub, and one of the speaker connections. The knob for sub volume adjustment is on the back of the sub, making it awkward to change the volume of it, because typically you would have the sub placed out of the way. Mine is on the floor underneath my desk. The knob for this would ideally be on one of the satellite speakers. For whatever reason, the connection for the RH speaker (on the back of the sub) is a VGA cable style. Why on Earth is this necessary? The LH speaker is your standard RCA jack. I see no reason why both speakers wouldn't connect with RCA jacks. Once it's set up it's not really a big deal, but it's still an odd way of going about it. I've never seen a speaker system set up this way. Bluetooth connectivity would have been a nice touch, but there are inputs for an external source on the back of the sub, and a 3.5mm input jack on one of the satellite speakers.

I returned these, and actually found the sound to be a bit shallow. There is a set of Insignia speakers that are at a similar price point that throw a much better sound, and they have an independent remote. I'm not a fan of controlling the volume by knob on the satellite. I would definitely compare this to the Insignia NS-PSD5321 model. Better sound and features IMHO.

I am returning these to the store. These speakers have a horrible static noise. I have tried multiple wall outlets and tried different locations and the static is still there. I have been reading online forums and this seems to be a common issue. What a disappointment.

Frankly the sub is...subpar though that shouldn't be surprising for the price. If you can spare a little extra get a better Logitech speaker setup but if you just want some basic stereo sound and aren't worried about the lower register these are cheap and not bad looking. It is worth nothing that the wires are rather short. On a 4 ft desk I am stretching the packaged cables without an extension which is frankly a little surprising but it canm be worked around cheaply.

Read a lot of reviews for this system before the purchase and more were flattering than not. I do not know what kind of sound those reviewers are accustomed to but I am disappointed with them. Trebel sounds too tinny, even after several adjustments on both the computer and the speakers,.....almost annoying. The subwoofer was reviewed as having a room-shaking effect....NOT. That being said, I was, after much adjustment, able to adjust the sound to a level that my Wife, who uses the system the most, is happy with. And NO I am NOT an audiophile snob who listens to high-end audio equipment. Next time though, I will buy separate components (speakers/amp/ sub-woofer). --Listening at LOW volume--for now--

Hi BBMan11, we're sorry to see you're having some connectivity related issues with your Z323 Speaker System. If you haven't already, please make sure all the cables are plugged in properly. This usually fixes any audio related issues. If you have done that and you're still having some distortion, you do have a 1-year limited warranty that can be used to have a replacement sent out to you. You can do that here: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024924114-Warranty-Speaker-System-Z323. Hope that helps. -N from Logitech
