    Good sound for the price!

These speakers have pretty good sound for the price. I've owned Logitech speakers for 15 years! My oldest set that I still use is the Logitech Z-2300. The Z-2300 is a system that needs to be heard in person to be appreciated, its audio quality is unlike any 2.1 system that's on the market today. Its bass response and clarity are just incredible even by todays standards.......soooo this Z533 has allot to live up to haha. While the Z533 isn't anywhere close to the Z-2300's performance, it does however sound pretty good. The satellite speakers could afford to have a bit less high end kick to them and a bit more mid range. The sub however is great, its not boomy sounding at all, in fact its perfect for me. It just puts out good bass. Just the right amount without being too much. Its not all perfect though, the control pod needs to have more resistance for the volume and bass controls. I feel they're too easy to move (the controls do have resistance to them but it needs more). The control pod on my Z-2300 system is great in this area to, it has enough resistance to move smoothly but not so much that its tough to move. I also don't like the fact that the control pod is hardwired to the sub, this is something that was a disappointment. It made setup a bit more difficult then it needed to be, setup took less then a few minutes but reaching down behind my desk to get the pod was a pain to do. So overall compared to the other options on the market the Z533 is a great product, its not too big and bulky and its not terrible sounding or to too bass heavy like so many other computer speakers are today. As I mentioned before the satellite speakers could do with less high end and more mid range, this is something I can fix in the equalizer, but its something to make note of if your heavy into music. For movies and games though it doesn't seem to be an issue for me.

Subwoofer bottom arrived damaged. 3.5mm cable was missing. Great! I thought this was supposed to be a new unit? Not happy with this fact, and feel that I'm already wasting time because of this (i.e. this review and more to come with all the hoops I'll have to complete).

Based on previous experience with Logitech computer speakers I bought this set. The sound produced does not live up to my expectations. The sound is muddy and thin to my ears. Also, there is an audible hum produced by the amplifier when no music is being played.

Very disappointed, there was popping sounds and static sounds when I turned the volume knob. I ended up exchanging these for a different brand.

This is the third set of speakers from Logitech that I've owned. The first set I had were the X230's. They were pretty good for the price but lacked clarity and oomph. I bought another set of Z523 to replace those as they had "360 surround sound" and more power. I was very let down by that set. Constant problems, and weak sound. I decided to give Logitech another chance and replaced those with a set of these speakers. I am so glad I did. The sound from these is 10x better than the Z523 set and they're the same price. Go figure? For 100 bucks you'd be hard pressed to find a better set of speakers. The connections on this system are also miles better than their previous sets. Also, the bass settings on this are much better than previous sets where turning the bass past 10-15% made the sound rubbish. You get good bass from the satellites as opposed to just the sub. I would absolutely suggest these to anyone in market for new speakers. I plan on buying a second set for my TV as the sound from these blows away the sound of sound bars that cost $150+ Kudo's Logitech, good set of speakers.

Hi Sketchman64, we're sorry to see you're unsatisfied with the bass from the Z533 Multimedia Speakers. If you're looking for more bass, check out the G623 Speaker system instead! Hope that helps. -N from Logitech

Great speakers put out alot of sound, I recently purchased these because my last speakers went out. The sound is amazing paired with my gigabyte z170 gaming 7 board, with quad sound chip and onboard amp. I love the small size of them and the puk that comes you can plug your phone, head phones mic, and also turn volume up and down. Only con is the little middle dome piece can be smashed in by your child, which mine did.

Let me tell you I wasn't expecting much from these. My last speakers that broke were Bose and I just wasnt wanting to spend a lot of money again to replace them. I set up these Logitech speakers and I can honestly say they are just as good as my Bose setup. The bass is great and the clarity is astounding. These suckers also get very loud. Worth every penny!

I use this for playing music in my dorm room and it sounds great! The base is great! it sounds good all over the room. My favorite part is the clarity! If your main priority is base get the z623. These speakers are extremely CLEAR!! The design is nice and simple and it looks pretty stylish too! Now my friends want speakers!

The sound quality on these speakers is amazing. They handle volume very well too with good bass while listening to music. They’re also excellent on my gaming rig. Games sound very realistic and the soundstage is good with its surround sound setup. Would definitely purchase again.

Phenomenal entry range system: will be keeping

Phenomenal budget system. Clear and distinct lows, mediums, and highs. I use these speakers to listen to just about every music genre under the sun, for audio while gaming, and to listen to lectures and partake in zoom calls, so I've heard these in just about every situation applicable, and they do nothing but sit on my desk and perform. I immediately upgraded to this system from the z407's, and I can confidently say that it is absolutely worth the extra 20 dollars. System highlights include great sound (duh), good aesthetics, and a convenient controller with easy to adjust bass. My only complaints about the system is the fact that the controller is tethered to the sub (a bit inconvenient, but no big deal), and lack of a bluetooth or USB input (if you want 3.5mm headphones, you'll need an adaptor for them) These speakers are plenty powerful enough to fill up a large bedroom or dorm room. They have excellent listening angle and range, and are comfortable to listen to from 2 feet away or across the room.

Rather than haul my 80 lb. Big Peavey 300 amp to play at an Adult Day Care on Tuesdays, I bought this z533 and hooked it up to my Roland FA-06 keyboard for portability. It produces a great big sound. I can control my bass and treble from the keyboard. I use different instrument sounds including drum sounds and the residents are amazed at the sound the z533 produces. Plenty of power with no distortion in the room. I use the RCA jacks and there is no hum. I am very pleased with this item,

Glad I decided to get this speaker over the other modes that were in the $50 range. The quality of the bass and subwoofer is so much better. These speakers really fill the room with sound, you barely have to turn the volume dial to get it loud. Great if you do a lot of gaming and streaming video.

Started looking for computers to replace my PC speakers that I've had for a few years as they now sound muffled especially at high volume. I went into the store today and the salesman suggested these. What a big difference in the sound from this 120 watt 2.1 speaker system as compared to my old 40 watt 2.0 speaker system. Not only louder but clearer and the bass is not muffled. I have a large living room and guess this is what I needed. Paid $99 but compared to some of the Bose and other speakers I was looking at this is still quite a deal. Listening to Amy Winehouse tonight at lower volume. Addicted to the sound and clarity already. Don't want to turn them off for the night. Highly recommended by others on this website, I highly recommend also.

These are easy to hook up and sound amazing! I replaced a set of older speakers that were starting to get a lot of static in them. I decided to get speakers with the sub woofer and there perfect!
