Poor Sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this speaker system based on the reviews and was very disappointed. The speakers sound like tin cans and are not pleasant to the ear. I will be having to go out and purchase another pair of speakers to replace these since the sound is so bad. I do not recommend them to anyone that enjoys listening to music on their computer.

No Bass Here
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean, the bass is horrible for what you are paying for. It’s not existent. Even on sale, I regret buying these. Would return if it wasn’t such a pain in the boot to Redbox it and return. Buy a Klipsch speakers instead. They know bass & subwoofers.

Good sound but constant static
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the unit is on and there is no sound playing you can hear a constant static coming from the speakers. You will also notice that the left speakers comes on before (at a lower volume) than the right speaker. I had two of these units (exchanged the first for the second) and they both did the same thing. Ended up returning for a different model all together.

Worked for 2 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in 11/2019 & it worked & sounded great for 2 years. Now 80% of the time I turn on the computer I get no sound or have to max out the volume to get any sound out of the speakers. Even at that there is nothing but static. This will be the last time I purchase Logitech speakers for my computer.

Posted .Hello Chingu! Sorry to hear you're having issues with you z533 Multimedia Speakers. I would suggest making sure all connections going from your speakers to the subwoofer are pushed in fully, and from the sub to your computer as well. Also verify that the speaker icon at the bottom right of your desktop has volume raised up in that area as well. If that still doesn't work for you for some reason, I noticed you said you purchased the speakers on 11/2019, which means about 8 months ago, so you'd still fall under the 1-year warranty for these speakers. It might be worth checking the product page https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/z533-multimedia-speaker-system and contacting the Support on our website. - Mathieu from Logitech

For a C-Note, Hard to Beat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hesitated on these speakers as they were to replace a Creative Labs set that cost almost twice as much 5 years ago. The Creatives had died, however, and my setup practically requires a control "pod" like this set has. My concerns were unfounded. Pulled the Creatives and set these in their place and boom! sound at least as good as the old ones. All while being better looking, taking up less space, and weighing less. Plus, the control pod not only has the volume control on it, but the bass, which on the old set required crawling under the desk to change. One small complaint: the control pod is permanently wired to the subwoofer, making routing it through all the cables under, behind, and on top of my desk more demanding than it needed to be. At a higher price I'd rate them a 4, but for a sub-$100 set, these are a five. Can't address reliability as I've had them running for less than a day. Time will tell.

For under $100 they are fair.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it sale for $74 hopping they would be worth it. easy set up and everything, but as soon as i turn them on i just heard a high ringing pitch in the background no matter what i plug up to it and the volume controls sucks. I had to turn it at least half way to get any sound out of it. Like i said I gave it a shot but just wasn't worth it to me.

Volume
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, but needs more volume if used for a yard party. Indoors, the volume is ok.

Not the same as older Logitech speakers, terrib
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had tons of Logitech speakers in my life and all of them were great but these. Terrible sound, not enough bass, everything has too much treble. I would pass on these for sure.

Decent price, broken after one month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi there. Got these speakers as a great starter pair for someone who wants decent quality. However, after about just a month and a half of consistent usage, the aux cable port is already messed up somehow. Haven't returned yet because I can't find the receipt. Womp womp. These would be fine otherwise.

Made it 3 months past the warranty date.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sounded good for 15 months, then started buzzing. These speakers were not being misused by any means -- they started buzzing on a medium-volume zoom call.

I'm giving this 2 stars because...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm giving this 2 stars because...it did a noisy static sound at anything past 1/3rd the volume which wasn't heard with music so much as when watching tv shows it made tv shows sound terrible. If it wasn't for the static being so bad with this speaker set it might would sound good.

Not worth it at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sub on this system is fine, but the speakers themselves are pretty poor. They sound like very loud earbuds. The treble sounds terrible. The power switch is a huge pain to use as well. Counterintuitively, the top doesn't move, the bottom part does. So you need 2 hands to use it. There are also no markings on which way is volume up or down, which makes it confusing to use. It seems these have replaced the Z523, which is a shame because those were fantastic for the price.

Terrible
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I bought a cheaper version of this product, and the speakers started making a noise, so I decided to pay more for the "nicer" version that logitech offers. 6 months in to buying these speakers, they started buzzing and emmitting a high frequency buzz accompanied by noticeable degradation in sound quality. It's not like I ever crank them up loud. Just bad quality speakers. Last time I ever get something from Logitech.
