Dead sub after 10 months

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well I absolutely loved the sound in these, but now 10 months in and the sub has died. All that comes out of it is a faint squeak-like noise that is barely audible, and restarting the computer, checking the wires, etc., haven't done anything to fix it. I'll have to replace the whole system since basically everything works through the sub. When these work the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. I got them on sale, but they're well worth full price if you get a good set. The speakers were clear, and the sub absolutely killed it when it still worked. Maybe I just got a dud, but if I spend this kind of money on speakers I usually expect them to last at least a year (but usually much longer). I might try out Klipsch next, or maybe move up to a Z625. Either way, I guess I'll have to get a warranty on my next speaker purchase.

You do have a 1-year limited warranty that can be used to have a replacement sent out to you.
