I got what I paid for, and, that's just fine with me. My expectations have been met, as always with Best Buy. What more is there to say? (But, to be candid, I have had these speakers less than a month.) --rf

Good for quality sound, however bass at 50% is pretty overwhelming to the subwoofer and causes a great deal of distortion to the sound quality. Not worth the extra money for the increase bass performance it claims to have.

Got these because my old Logitech THX speakers finally died 10 years in. I used to like Logitech but these speakers are pretty underwhelming. Add to it the "open speaker design" which might look good, but makes them less likely to survive with age. For the sale price, not a bad deal. But for full price, definitely not the best. Also, Logitech likes to make it impossible to use the components without their proprietary connectors; this one, the remote is hard wired into the subwoofer so if that breaks, say bye bye to the whole system. Definitely a sign of where Logitech is headed, and I don't really care to follow it anymore...

Got it on sale for $80, honestly though if you buy this it's more for an apartment setting not a homeowner if you want to shake the walls. If you want the best spend the 40 more for the 6 series.

Great product used it for my juke box great sound.

I bought this when it was only $60. They were really great speakers. The only problem was when the volume got boosted, the speakers became very crackily. But the reason I returned it was the monitor I bought didn't have a audio jack to plug these speakers in.

These speakers are awesome. I love the bass level control on the volume knob.

I ordered these to replace my old Logitech 5.1 that was starting to have issues with the cables getting bent too many times over the years. I ended up returning these to upgrade, but these were the better price.

I got these on sale for 1/2 off so i cant complain about them that much. One corner of the subwoofer was smashed in a little and there is a weird humming sound coming out of the speakers every now and then. I wish the speakers were covered with something. very hard to dust.

I have loved Logitech's quality and value for many many years. For $89 I will get thousands of dollars worth of great music enjoyment! Very much worth the money

I really had high hopes for this system but i had to return back to Best Buy, two of these as they were both defective. I have purchased this Logitech Z533 not once but twice and they were BOTH defective. The reason being defective is the left speaker port where the blue connects to the blue on the subwoofer, that port does not work and it didnt work for either of the two I bought. I connected the black to the blue and the blue to the black (blue is left speaker, black is right speaker) and the black would not produce any sound when plugged into the left speaker pirt. But the left blue plugged into the black started producing sound. So, this tells me i gotta go and make yet a phuking third trip to Best Buy and return this useless junk wasting my gas. The sound quality and everything was great. But this is the second time...within just a couple hours I've had to replace this and I'm tired of wasting my time with this item...so back to Best Buy i go.... The reason for one star is not blaming Best Buy, its a obvious quality control issue on Logitech and if i can get one that works, would gladly keep it.

When I built my pc I was looking for decent speakers that also came with a subwoofer. Now, the knob you get to adjust the audio is very touchy and uses this metal lock mechanism. This however is where the issue lies because there is a certain pressure that is needed to be applied for the metal lock to activate sound(this sounds ridiculous but it's true) I was able to take it out it works fine still. However, I would spring for a new logitech model or even another brand like Razer or something. Logitech has better headsets, mice and keyboards than they do speaker systems.

Decent speakers for my office. Not loud enough for my taste. My biggest complain would be the control knob! It’s not detachable, I was unable to feed it through my office desk opening! I had to mount it under the desk

They are great for the price. I’ve had them for over two years and they still perform amazingly.

We bought these for our grandson and he said that they were great. I wouldn't know because I haven't heard them. He is 20 years old so he knows what he wants.

The remote on off switch works perfectly for my application. I have very little space where I’m set up and this works perfectly.

Speakers are not bad at all for the price. I did find that the speakers sound a little tiny but over all not bad.

I got the Logitech - z533 Multimedia Speakers for my son, as a Christmas gift, mainly due to the fact that is a fairly new product, with good features. He is pleased and so am I.

It is a great product, exactly what I wanted! My husband did research and people really liked this product.
