Enhanced Comfort, But Not Without Flaws!

As a tech enthusiast, I recently had the opportunity to test out the Logitech Zone 300 Wireless Bluetooth Headset, and overall, it's a mixed bag of impressive features and notable shortcomings.
Let's start with the positives. The Zone 300 boasts exceptional comfort, thanks to its plush ear cushions and adjustable headband. Long gaming sessions or marathon work calls are a breeze with this headset, as it sits comfortably on the head without causing discomfort or fatigue. The lightweight design further adds to its wearability, making it ideal for extended use.
Sound quality is another area where the Zone 300 shines. With crisp highs and deep, rich bass, it delivers an immersive audio experience whether you're listening to music, participating in a conference call, or gaming. The active noise cancellation feature effectively blocks out ambient noise, allowing you to stay focused on your tasks without distractions.
The headset's Bluetooth connectivity offers seamless pairing with multiple devices, allowing for hassle-free switching between your smartphone, tablet, and computer. The wireless range is impressive, providing freedom of movement without sacrificing audio quality.
However, the Logitech Zone 300 is not without its flaws. One notable issue is the microphone quality, which falls short of expectations. While it effectively captures speech, it tends to pick up background noise, resulting in a less-than-ideal experience during calls or online gaming sessions. Additionally, the lack of customization options for audio settings may disappoint users looking for more control over their listening experience.
Another drawback is the battery life, which, while decent, could be improved. The headset offers around 15 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which may not be sufficient for heavy users who rely on it throughout the day without frequent breaks for recharging.
In terms of design, while the headset is comfortable to wear, some users may find the aesthetic to be uninspired. A more modern and stylish design could enhance its appeal to a wider audience.
Overall, the Logitech Zone 300 Wireless Bluetooth Headset earns a solid 3.5 stars out of 5. Its comfort, sound quality, and connectivity features are commendable, but the microphone performance, battery life, and design leave room for improvement. If you prioritize comfort and audio quality and can overlook its shortcomings, the Zone 300 is worth considering for your next wireless headset purchase.
Hey, Thanks for the insightful Zone 300 review! We appreciate you highlighting the comfort, sound quality, and connectivity. We understand your feedback on microphone quality, battery life, design options, and customization. This is valuable for future product development. We're constantly striving to improve, and your feedback helps us do that.

The Logitech Zone 300 over the ear wireless headset is a good all around gaming headset. The Zone 300 headset has a noise cancelling mic that does a great job in filtering out unwanted sounds and voices in the room. The mic boom folds up to the side, which turns off the mic so that you can talk privately. This is a convenient feature that is so much better than having to hit a key to turn off the mic. The mic has what they call dual beam forming mics with noise reducing algorythems. This is what makes the mic so good at preventing unwanted background noises. The Zone 300 pairs with your PC via bluetooth and can switch between two different devices. The headset has an advertised 30 meter range and an advertised 16 hours of talk time and 20 hours of listening time on a singe charge using your block and the provided USB C cable. I havn't kept time on how long my pair stays charged, but I can say, I can easily get several gaming sessions on a single charge. The Zone 300 have a 30MM earcup, which is where I have an issue. I like over the ear headsets, and I guess I missed the part about these being listed as on-ear headsets. After a while, they tend to make my ears uncomfortable. They are soft, but I prefer a larger cup to go over my ear. That is why I gave them 4 stars and not 5. Some people probably prefer this style. You can access media controls on the ear cup easily and other adjustments can be made with Logi Tune. Overall, I like these and the sound is spectacular with good noise cancelling through the mic. They would make a good addition to a gamers arsenal.
Hey! Thanks for the detailed Zone 300 review! We appreciate you highlighting the mic noise cancellation, multi-device switching, and great sound quality. The feedback about the on-ear design (comfortable for some) is valuable for future products. Sounds like a great gaming headset!

Great Featured Headset that Just Works

I have an issue that has been particularly exacerbated by Zoom calls - I am soft spoken. And I've found that being heard depends a lot on directionality of my voice and a microphone. I've tried a variety of things over the past couple years. Wired headsets, pro ear buds, and the Zone 300 outclasses them all with it's ability to pick up my voice. Almost that alone gets it five stars. I'm freed from the strange issue of needing to configure my audio settings to use a wireless headset for audio, but still use the webcam for the mic because it has the best chance of picking up my voice. But as it turns out, there's more ways the Zone 300 stands out.
Going to what's in the box, you get a basic headset with a boom mic, black in color, plastic but decently premium in look and feel. The shape seems reversed relative to what I've been used to with headsets but I have to admit that it feels nice sitting on my head and seems to place the head band in a great position to support without being annoying. It charges via USB-C and finally, I'm getting a headset that meet's it's claimed battery runtime. My pro buds claim 8-10 hours, I'm lucky to get more than 3 out of them. The Zone lets my get through a full day of work listening to music and taking calls on a single charge. Not needing to randomly switch headsets because the battery is getting low or stop music to ensure you charge so there's enough battery life for that afternoon zoom is freeing.
The Zone 300 can pair simultaneously to multiple devices. I've had other headsets that made that claim but here it actually works. What the others do is primarily pair to once device and if already paired to a second, they'll connect if I go to the BT settings in the second device and make it connect. However, they often randomly reconnect back to the original device even if I'm in the middle of listening to music or on a call. So I've gotten in the habit of explicitly disconnecting on one device before connecting on the second. The Zone 300 worked the right way which I discovered by luck. I first paired it to my desktop and used it for zoom calls and to listen to youtube videos. A couple days later, I needed to have a phone call with a friend and having had various issues with mic pickup with my pro buds, decided to give the Zone 300 a try since it had worked so well. The following day, I'm back at my desktop, doing some work, listening to music when a phone call comes in on my cell. PC music pauses as I answer the call on my phone. After the call ended, it went back to playing music from the PC! And I didn't need to do anything special, it just worked!
Honestly, I was not expecting much from the Zone 300. The audio is pretty good, yes, my pro buds have it beat in terms of quality, but not by much. As I've mentioned, excellent mic pickup - from my experiments, the best mic among all my options between existing wired and wireless headsets as well as the mics built into my webcams, desktop, and laptop. It also has a feature where it mutes the mic when you flip the boom up. Yet another understated but awesome feature. I have a wired headset that has a mute button and light, but even then, it seems a bit of a hassle to track the state. With the Zone 300, it's pretty obvious and feels natural. There's also the voice prompt that the mic is being muted or unmuted.
Speaking of voice prompts, props to Logitech for putting in the effort. Instead of sounding like a machine assembling different words together to read out battery status or pairing mode or mic status, the voice feels very natural and as a result, not annoying. I've not even bothered to figure out how to turn it off because I've not felt a need.
So in summary - great headset. Understated, a lot of features, does everything right.
Thanks for the detailed review of the Logitech Zone 300! It sounds like the mic pickup and multi-device pairing are exactly what you were looking for. We appreciate you mentioning the comfortable design and long battery life as well - those are definitely important for long calls and work days.

Light weight, Well made! Nice noise cancelling

As I said in the title, the "Logitech Zone 300 Wireless Bluetooth Headset" is a well made headset with very light weight and some nice features. The noise cancellation is amazing. You can use it in an average noisy environment but nothing (from the noise) will be heard on the other side. I liked how minimalist the packaging is. Logitech packed the essential in very conservative and ecological way. They included a USB-C cable (which works for data transmission too). Setting it up was very easy. Just by holding the power button, the headset went to pairing mode. I paired it with Windows and it was recognized quickly. I set it up to be used in "Teams" and it worked well. A nice feature, I liked, you can mute the microphone just by lifting it to the up position. Then, to un-mute, bring it back forward. Quick and easy.
The headset closes well on your ears, without applying too much pressure. The adjustment is adequate and the top is padded. Good for people with thin or no hair. The sound isolation is very well. Maybe too well that it may cause a disconnect from the environment around you. I found myself moving it on the side a bit on my right ear just to keep aware of my surrounding.
Microphone recording is very good. I did several test calls with different levels of noise. All got filtered very well except the wind blow. It was transmitted softly to the record. That's me being extreme.
The sound clarity is good. Above average and on the good side compared with the price. The bass is a bit low but installing Logi Tune allows a better control of it and some nice features. I strongly recommend getting the app. It is available for Win, Android, iOS, and Mac. It is indeed a good completion to your headset. Increasing value!
It allows connection to multiple devices and easy switching. Calls answering button is also there with volume adjusting. It takes no time to turn on and it lasts for very long time. I've been using it for several hours meeting on the first charge. Charging it was fast (using the provided USB-C cable).
Ear's speakers are well cushioned and pivoting around to comfortably seal your ears.
I'd recommend it for your online meetings as it works best if you work from home (even sometimes) as it offers some good features for precise microphone, long range BT, and good level of noise cancellation. Also, switching the microphone off and on is very intuitive and effective. I like that it doesn't show your mic is muted on Teams... That's just me!
Hello there, Thanks for the detailed Zone 300 review! We appreciate you highlighting the comfort, noise cancellation, ease of use, and long battery life. It sounds perfect for work-from-home calls! We'll consider your feedback about sound isolation.

One of my favorite features is the incredible battery life. I can go days without needing to recharge, even with heavy use. It’s a lifesaver, especially when you’re on the go and can’t afford to be tethered to a charging cable.
Pairing the Zone 300 with my devices was a breeze, and the Bluetooth connectivity is strong and reliable. The built-in microphone is of exceptional quality, ensuring that my voice comes through loud and clear during calls. Plus, the multi-point connectivity feature allows me to seamlessly switch between my phone and tablet, making multitasking a breeze.

People, if you have tons of online meetings, please, please, please get this headset. Do yourself a favor and everyone you meet with as well.
First, it is very sleek and simple. The box contents are very straightforward-- the headset and a USB C cord is all I saw. Though the illustration manual is very easy to understand, I did not need it. The headset itself is easy to figure out. Once I clicked the pairing button, my windows 11 PC saw it right away and all I did was click the notification to install it.
When I placed the headset on, it was not intrusive at all. I used to wear earbuds all the time and my ears get sore after back to back hour meetings. This logi headset is very comfortable to wear, and it doesn't make me look like I'm rallying voters all day.
Connection is very stable-- this is very important for me. And when I say stable, the audio is constant, and the connection does not skip. I asked a colleague to have a meeting with me using the headset just so I'll know how I will sound at the receiving end, and wow, the output audio is clear and crisp, like he's the only person in the room. This is huge, because I'm sure you had meetings where you will have to ask someone to repeat themselves because they've "gone underwater" or they just went silent-- and we all know how much time that wastes, plus the annoyance of having to ask them to repeat themselves. This is why I really like this for not just me, but hopefully for all people I meet with, because it will save us all time.
Be it a zoom or a Google meet session, quality is consistent and the Bluetooth setting does not get confused between app settings! So far from one charge it lasts a day full 10 hours of meetings and music. I have not tried testing the longevity of the battery. I'm not a fan of dying headsets. I charge mine daily.
We get enough meetings in one day-- it's about time we all have quality interactions, at least in audio technical exchange if not content. Well done Logitech. I'm a believer.

This Logitech Zone 300 headset is wonderful. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable, especially around the ears, they are. I have very sensitive skin, so can't wear ear buds. This headset is very lightweight and there is padding around the ears and the headband. They connected immediately to my devices - laptop and my phone.
The two best features are the sound quality and the battery life. Both are fantastic! The sound is very crisp and clear, and the mic mutes itself when in the up position so there is no sound pickup from the environment (this can be controlled in the app as well). I find myself using the headset, even when I don't need to, because the sound is so good.
The battery life is amazing. It came charged up to 60%, but I fully charged it. I then used it all day for work and watching a movie, and then the next day intermittently. It was still charged at 80%. It tells you when you power the headset on what percentage it is at. The app, Loti Tune, also displays the percentage.
The only issue I did find was when I was walking around with the headset - if I bent over even slightly, the headset would slip right off. It's not worth reducing a star for, because it doesn't happen all that much and the other qualities more than make up for this little issue.
That's wonderful to hear that you find the Zone 300 comfortable, especially with sensitive skin! We strive to design products that are comfortable for extended wear. Crisp and clear audio is definitely a plus, and we're glad you're enjoying the sound quality. The long battery life and mute function sound very convenient features as well. Thanks for sharing your experience!

This is a good pair of basic office headgear; it has all the essentials, good sound quality for a mix of music and meetings as well as a crystal-clear mic (which is essential for any type of remote work). The Bluetooth connection is steady and strong, no issue going to the kitchen to let the dog out from down the hallway during a meeting. The lift to mute feature on the mic is one of my favorites as I know when I’m muted, though with just the Bluetooth connection it doesn’t sync with MS Teams mute the way other headsets due with a USB dongle, but I’ll make that trade off for not having to have a dongle any day of the week. The battery lasts several days with light to medium usage and charging is via USB C. Also, you can use the headset while charging it which is awesome for those that only remember to charge when you get the battery is low notice right as you turn it on for a meeting. The sleep functionality is great with the computer and okay with my phone. I’ve been able to just use it with my computer and not have to remember to turn it back on. With my phone I would need to push the power button to get it to connect/wake up. Also, it always prioritizes the computer first (which I connected second) so if I am having a phone conversation and I get an email notice on my computer it’ll cut the conversation to tell me that, then take me back. If I am using MS teams on my phone, it will try to cut back and then Teams will mess up and not allow me to use the Bluetooth headset or speaker. All this to say I ended up just removing my phone and using it with my computer, but if you use your phone at work for music and not half your team calls this would work perfectly for that use case. As an improvement I wish the android app had a way to choose which device to prioritize. Speaking of the app, if for some reason you don’t like the lift to mute function, it can be turned off in there as well as equalization settings can be changed. The only other thing I found is after several hours the back of my ears would feel a bit soar from being pushed down, this is probably due to my ears sticking out a little bit more than average instead of lying flat, so if you have ears like that and plan to use them for 5+ hours, that might be something to consider. Overall, they make a great headset for the office and are easy to throw in your backpack. If you are wanting a headset for your computer that you can listen to your phone music with and take a phone call or what not, these would work perfectly, if you are a power user of your phone and computer and what a headset that prioritizes the phone, these might not be the best for you.
Thanks for the detailed Zone 300 review! This is helpful for remote workers. Key strengths: clear audio, comfy design, reliable Bluetooth, long battery life. Areas for improvement: mobile app could offer device prioritization. We'll consider your feedback!

The Zone 300 Wireless Bluetooth Headset is pretty sleek and looks modern, especially compared to the business minded headset competition. I like the matte finish for repelling fingerprints and dirt. The earpads are soft and comfortable with soft, faux leather coverings. The headset is comfortable. I haven't had a problem wearing it for extended use during work. The boom mic moves up and down smoothly. No hitches or strange noise from it and the position holds well. The headset will automatically mute if you push it up all the then it. The headbands is wrapped with the faux leather. It has rubber-like padding that adds to a good, comfortable fit.
You can hear the passive noise cancellation kick in as soon as you put on the headset. I can't hear a difference with the passive noise cancellation and when the active noise cancellation (ANC) kicks in. However, its pretty good either way all things considered. It functions not only as a Bluetooth headset but also as stereo headphones. I've listened to a little music with them and they hold up pretty well considering the size and dialog purpose of the headset.
On the left ear-cup, you’ll find buttons for power, Bluetooth pairing, and connect/disconnect call controls. The headset connects almost instantly. The headset has a built in voice letting know that its connected. I really like that the charging port is USB-C and it allows for charging while using the headset. The free Logitech app lets you fine-tune some of the settings to your preference.
The Logitech Zone 300 is a solid choice for professionals working in open offices. I would take these before the my company provided headset. They sound clearm, they're comfy, okay ANC, and I haven't had issues with customers complaining about voice quality.
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Logitech Zone 300. We appreciate you highlighting its key strengths: comfortable design, fast Bluetooth pairing, and clear microphone audio. These are all crucial features for a productive work experience, and we're glad the Zone 300 delivers in these areas."

I have a couple Plantronics Bluetooth headsets. One sits at my office (stereo) and one at home (mono). I got this Logitech Zone 300 Bluetooth Headset to replace the one at home.
First off, I'm a fan of Logitech devices. I've got several Logitech keyboards, mice, webcams, wired headsets and gaming controllers. While their record with me hasn't been perfect, they generally put out good products.
The Zone 300 Bluetooth Headset is rather simple. There is no USB dongle, it just has a USB-C to USB-C cable and the headset itself.
Pairing the headset to my computer was very easy. Audio is very clear and on device controls are limited to an answer/end button, volume up/down and the power button. I'm pleased that the power button toggles power very quickly. I have another Bluetooth headset where power on/off takes several seconds to trigger. By lowering the boom mic on the Zone 300 headset, it unmutes the microphone. Raising the boom mic mutes the microphone. Either action is confirmed by a voice prompt. This is a relatively simple implementation.
The boom arm does have two microphones and it implements a very effective noise cancelling technology to cut down any background noise for the other caller.
While it is lightweight and offers decent audio, I'm a little disappointed in the overall implementation. The controls themselves are relatively small. All the controls are on the left ear piece along its lower rear circumference. I feel it's too easy to accidentally hang up a call if you try to click on the volume up button. Or power off the headset if you try to click on the volume down button. While there is a physical bump on the volume toggle, the buttons are a bit close together.
The Logitech Zone 300 also lacks any visual indicator to tell you or others if you're in a call. On a Plantronics headset, for example, there is a status indicator ring that pulses red if you're on a call but on mute.
While the ear cups swivel slightly on the frame. I'm a little wary traveling with the headset because the ear cups don't rotate 90 degrees to offer a flatter profile.
There is a Logitech Tune app for both PC and Mobile devices. It only allows Bluetooth connection, meaning the USB port only seems to allow charging. The Logi Tune app gives you additional options to manage Bluetooth devices that are connected to the headphones. While it offers Multi-Point pairing, it only allows 2 at a time. The Logi Tune app also gives you several options to change some of the behavior such as controlling the mute via the boom mic position, side tone level, and an easy to use equalizer with a few presets.
While the Zone 300 headset is a very nice Bluetooth headset with crisp audio and relatively easy use, I think I'll still keep with my Plantronics headset for my work calls with its easier button layout and in-call indicator.
Hey! Thank you for your detailed feedback on the Logitech Zone 300 headset. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the small button size and lack of a visual call indicator. We appreciate you highlighting the clear audio, noise-cancellation technology, and ease of use. Your insights about the button layout, potential for accidental hangs-up, and travel portability will be valuable for future product development.

Great sound, lightweight, and great battery life. However, I do have a con. The microphone should be able to rotate 360* where it can either be on the left or right side of the face.

Logitech’s Zone 300 is one of the only bluetooth headsets I’ve used which is designed for left handed users. This adds quite the convenience if you’re in the minority. If you’re not, however, it can be very unnerving to find all the controls you’re looking for on the ‘other’ ear.
The headset connected quickly with my laptop, even being prompted by the machine without even having to go into the Bluetooth pairing menu. I was also able to connect with my phone. One nice feature is that both devices can be connected at the same time, unlike other headsets I’ve tried from Poly and Shockz. While the others would also connect with 2 devices, if the phone rang, I would be temporarily disconnected from my PC.
I used the headset on my own as well as when I was sitting near others at home. In both cases, the other meeting recipients were able to hear me clearly and loudly. They also did not hear anything else going on at my house. A very nice (and somewhat unique) feature is to mute the microphone simply by swinging it up. I found this very useful in Zoom calls so I didn’t have to fiddle with the mouse. I just swung it up when I had nothing to say, then swung it down when it was my turn to contribute.
When I was not in meetings, the music I played through the headset sounded decent. No one will mistake this headset for a set of Sennhieser or Sony cans, but it was much better than what comes from my laptop speakers. The headset sits on your ears, not around them. This means you can still hear some of what is going on nearby. If you are the type who enjoys being around people, this can be a great benefit. The headset will not keep things silent enough for deep thinkers. There’s some noise cancellation in the microphone, but nothing in the headphones.
The overall shape and design are similar to the last wired headset I’d gotten from Logitech 10 years ago. It’s light, but also fairly ridgid. The sides don’t swivel at all, so you’re dependent on the floating speakers to provide enough movement to fit your head well. This worked OK for me, but may not for everyone.
This headset charges with a USB-C cord, included in the package. There’s no power adapter, however. Logistics assumes you already have an AC plug or that it will charge from your computer. If you have an Android cell phone from the last few years, that’s most likely true. Blue bubble people may need to stop at the store.
Overall, this is a decent headset with well designed controls. Once you get used to the left handed orientation, it’s easier to use than some others. Comfort and sound quality are somewhat lacking for a headset in this price range. You can likely get similar quality for less money or a better headset for the same amount.
Hello there, Thanks for the detailed review of the Logitech Zone 300! We especially appreciate you highlighting its unique features for lefthanded users and the convenient multi-device connection. We'll take your feedback on comfort and sound quality into consideration for future improvements.

I have always believed that Logitech makes some of the best speakers and headphones in the electronics space and this wireless headset furthers that opinion. In fact, I have yet to have poor experience with any Logitech audio device. Ever! And this from a guy with over two decades with their products.
As usual with stuff from them this device pairs with your phone, iPad, or MacBook with no issues what so ever. Range is well above average and the audio quality is outstanding. The mic cancels out any background noise so the folks you are speaking with can hear you nice and clear. The sound quality is excellent. Whether you are listening to folks talking or listening to music. Are these going to be as good as a high end pair of headphones for music and movies? No. But again, this is not what they are designed for. Will they provide you an above average Teams or Zoom meeting experience? Without a doubt! Even better you can use the Logitech app on your phone to further tune these headphones to your liking.
Over all Logitech hit this one out of the ball park and you will have a great experience using them.

Extremely comfortable and immensely convenient - this headset connected out-of-the-box with a simple button push. I seriously had less trouble connecting this headset than any other Bluetooth device I can think of.
The headset, as said, is comfortable; the ear pieces fit snugly can can be worn for extended work or gaming sessions.
Connectivity and signal strength were excellent, too. I had to get up and walk away from laptop while using this several times and had no trouble retaining a strong signal connection from an appreciable distance away. And set-up, as said, is a breeze.
Sound reproduction is very good, but not perfect. You will be able to hear clearly, and your listener will be able to hear you, but the max volume on this headset is a bit weak. This is especially noticeable if you switch over to media playback after a work or business call. The max volume is still better than I've heard with similarly priced headsets, though.
The mic seemed to pick up my voice with clarity and accuracy, and the headset seems to retain the excellent "raise mic to mute" feature. I work in a noisy environment, and asked repeatedly if any of the ambient noise around me was being picked up by the mic during work calls with clients. All feedback was positive.
The only two downsides to this headset are the somewhat weak maximum volume and the fact that you're required to keep the mic on your left. The mic arm does not rotate 180 degrees, so you can't simply reverse the headset if you prefer the mic on your right (which I do).
Hello! Thanks for the detailed Zone 300 review! It highlights the comfort, easy connection, clear mic, and strong signal. We'll consider the volume and mic boom feedback for future improvements. Great review!

Logitech Zone 300 Wireless Headset is the newest addition to my small home office. I can now receive notifications from my PC and answer calls on my smartphone while going about my daily tasks. The Bluetooth connection is impressive with reliability for over 98 feet! I can work outside doing whatever without worrying that my call will drop. The audio is very crisp and clear, with music and calls.
I received in the box the headphones, a USB-C charging cable, and Important Safety, Compliance and warranty information. Quick set-up instructions are located on the inner flaps on the box. The Logitech Zone 300 Wireless Headset is compatible with the Logi Tune app. The download is available for Window, macOS, iOS, and Andriod. I'm using the Windows app and Android app.
The headphones are adjustable and are slightly loose-fitting for me. For reference, I wear a 60cm or large hat. The enlarged earpads are very comfortable and padded. The Logitech Zone 300 is noise-canceling which is great when I'm trying to concentrate on work, but my spouse has the TV on blast! Highly Recommend!
