This headset is fine when it comes to listening to music, but the issues with the microphone portion are inexcusable. The headset goes into a ‘call mode’ that turns the audio mono rather than stereo regardless if you’re in a call or just recording your voice. Logitech said this is intended to help call audio quality. This would be fine if it was toggleable, but THERE’S NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. I’ve bought headsets that perform better for half the price.

Logitech always has had great quality products and this headset is definitely great quality. The design is simple and lightweight. It adjusts comfortably and sits over my ears just right. The cushions don't bother me at all which is great cause usually, after gaming for a bit, my ears start to hurts from being pressed on. It connects so easily and I was using them within no time at all. The battery life is amazing. I played all night and into the morning and still had life left in these bad boys. The dongle is small and honestly not really noticeable once it is plugged in. The wireless connection is strong and stays connected with no issues. I kept the headset on while I went in the kitchen to make breakfast and it stayed connected just fine. I haven't heard any static or dropout of audio. The sound is excellent. Very full sounding with good bass and treble. Sound effects and music both sound awesome. The mic is probably my favorite part. It really cancels out all the outside noise very well. My teammates I play with all said they could hear me crystal clear and I like that I can just flip it up to mute it instead of having to press a button or switch. Thanks for a great product Logitech!

Excellent Addition to my Home/Work Office

In the box is the headset, a USB-A Bluetooth receiver, USB-A to USB-C charging cord, a USB-A to USB-C adaptor, a travel bag and a paper informational guide that discusses noise exposure, the headphone warranty and safety information. My main intension for the headset is work from home and the office. I currently use my own personal noise cancellation headphones for work, but I prefer to have a headset specifically for work for noise cancellation, comfort and a mic to speak. First impression, I really appreciate the design and the comfort of the headset. I love how they can be adjusted via the headphone muffs instead of adjustment above the ears. There is a hole above the muffs so you can hold the bottom of the muffs with your thumb and push them up or hold the whole muff and pull down. Also, the position of the buttons are great as well. I appreciate having a USB-C charging cord and the adaptor is great addition as well since my work computer is not as updated as all of my home equipment. Sound - The sound (volume of the treble and bass-the equalizer on the download allows you to tweak your settings) is good but the noise cancellation is not so great BUT the noise cancellation does work good enough to block out most background noise but not all. While sitting at my cubicle, I was able to hear sounds around me, but it was muted enough for me not to be distracted. At home, there is a loud box that has all the electronics for Wi-Fi and the fans are noisy and the headset did mute the noise as well, but I still slightly hear the sounds. I am impressed with the sound of the speakers; I played different types of videos and music and adjusted the equalizer when needed. The music was clear and depending on the setting it improved the sound as needed. Mic and calls - This feature worked well as expected. Callers stated that they could hear me clearly. I did receive a call while my headset was laying on my desk and the ring was SUPER loud. I am grateful for this because I could have missed a call if the volume was the same as the headset being on. The mic does speak to you when you pull the mic handle down or put it back up. Battery - Battery life is good so far. I honestly don’t use the headphones for work a lot so I shouldn’t have to charge for a while. Beware, at 20% there is a low battery notification that speaks through the headphones, and you will be constantly reminded to charge the headset. I charged for 15 minutes, and the battery life went from 20% to 70%. Overall, I really like these headphones and I would recommend them to friends and family. So far, the noise cancellation is not a deal breaker for me since the sound and comfort are much better than my previous pair of work headphones. They are a great addition to my home and work office and I will definitely buy a second pair so I don’t have to carry them back and forth to the office.

This item worked great purchased 9/23/22 and I have used them ever since for work. The only problem is when I went to use them today they no longer work. It powers on for about 1 minute and then shuts off. Because I purchased it in September they are no longer returnable. So I am out of luck.

Sorry about that! Please factory reset the headset and check if that helps. Firstly, Press and hold the answer /end (CAE) button and the volume button for five seconds and in the Logi Tune App, under Zone Vibe 125 > About Headset , click Factory Settings. If the issue persists, please contact the Logitech Support team as they are well equipped to assist you with necessary steps.

A product of the Zoom/remote work era

This headset was actually a pleasant surprise. I was expecting just another headset, but it's obvious Logitech took their experiences of working from home and put thought into what makes a good headset in the work-from-home world. It's the details that matter with this headset. They are lightweight, but doesn't necessarily feel cheap. I didn't think a lightweight headset was all that important, until I was wearing them through a few hours of meetings, and realized how much more comfortable it is to have these on my head for an extended period of time. The earcups are big enough and don't apply any pressure to my ears. The dongle seems to be unique to the headset, so it won't work with any of Logi's existing Unified dongles. But it does come with the benefit of quickly connecting, and also displaying a light that lets you know that both the headset is connected, and if it's on mute or not. I'll say it again: a light that turns red when you are on mute. I love this feature. The mute, done by flipping up the mic boom, will also do software mute in Zoom, so you're "double muted" in one fell swoop, and users can see if you're muted. Only downside, is since it's a hardware mute as well, zoom won't let you know if you're talking on mute. Also, another nice touch, when turning the headset on, a pleasant voice announces the power on, approximate battery left (80%, 60%, 40%, etc....), announces when dongle connects, and will announce when you mute and unmute. I really like these features, especially knowing how much battery is left when I turn it on, because nothing sucks more than going into hours of meetings only to find out the battery is low when it's too late. You can also install the "Logi Tune" software, which is a bit of an odd app, but I still found it to be useful, and clearly designed for the remote work life. The unexpected, but still helpful, feature is the calendar integration which will integrate into Outlook or Gmail and show upcoming meetings and also display a banner at the meeting start time with a quick link to immediately start the meeting. Another very helpful feature IMO. You can also use the software to adjust the equalizer, though it didn't seem to have much effect for me. Maybe a future software update is in order. You can also control the "sidetone", which is being able to hear what the headset mic is picking up. Unfortunately, the sidetone does not go through the noise cancellation, so you will also hear background noise that people on your meeting don't. The mic quality is otherwise good, above average even. I used to use a separate mic from my previous headset, because the quality sounded like a bad phone, or otherwise highly compressed. My voice is much clearer on this headset and makes me sound more professional. There is volume control on the headset, but it will control system volume on a Mac (which is also the headset volume), but that's more of a limitation on Mac, works fine on Windows (only adjusts volume for headset). Range is also fantastic, I'm able to walk all around my 1br apartment and still hear and be heard clearly, where other headsets would start cutting out. The battery life is also great, I'm at about 40% battery life after a few hours of use per day for the last week. It also comes with a bag, which includes a small pocket/pouch where you can put the dongle and USB-C adapter, so the headset can travel with you for those in-person days. Unfortunately the headset does not fold up in any way, so not very compact for those travel days. Honestly, overall, I have very few if no complaints about this headset. I didn't get to connect it to my phone or test with music. I probably wouldn't use these primarily for music, they seem optimized for voice clarity which is great for meetings, but not great for music.

Laggy & far too expensive for the average features

GOOD - Includes USB-A to C adapter - Lightweight - Good battery life - PS4 compatible - Includes carry bag with mini pocket for USB dongles BAD - Audio lag over both Bluetooth and USB - Doesn't fold up for travel - No hi-def Bluetooth codec support - No noise cancelling - Must use companion application to customize TLDR The Zone Vibe 125 seems to be Logitech's attempt to make a grown-up version of the G435. It's the same lightweight frame design, the same controls, and similar features. The difference is the Vibe has a retractable boom microphone, a USB-A to C adapter, and a significantly higher price. Overall, it's a kind of "meh" package. I think Logitech tried to make the Vibe a do-it-all headset, something that can be used at home on the desktop for work and games, then can go on the road connected to a phone or tablet. It's a nice idea to have only one headset for all your needs, but that means a lot of compromises have to made. Is it going to be lightweight for easy travel, or will it have stout earcups for robust audio fidelity? Large batteries hold a charge longer, but also can get heavy. You get the idea. Most of this review is fairly simple. The Vibe is a typical headset that can connect over Bluetooth or using a wireless USB dongle. It has a rechargeable internal battery and can recharge over USB( using a C connector ). The USB dongle also works with a PS4 but not a Switch, and it comes with a USB-A to C adapter, so you can use it on newer devices and laptops that don't have a USB-A port. I could even get it working over USB with an Android phone using the adapter. You can still use the Vibe while it's charging, but it cannot operate as a wired USB headset alone ( it still needs to be connected either by Bluetooth or the dongle ). It also doesn't have a 3.5mm auxiliary jack. Audio quality is what I expect for a mainstream headset now. It's perfectly adequate for 95% of users, nothing that stands out either good or bad. Most people don't need studio reference headphones, and even if they had them, they're listening to lossy compressed audio over a Bluetooth connection, so the source itself is already far from high fidelity. Pretty standard fare so far. The big downside to the Vibe is noticeable audio lag. Whether using USB or Bluetooth with a PC, the lag is noticeable and de-syncs any movie or TV show you watch. Over Bluetooth with mobile devices, it's particularly bad. The Vibe improves over its little brother G435 considerably in terms of controls. The buttons are largely the same, with power and volume controls on the back of the left earcup. Where the G435 had its power button, the Vibe has a phone call accept/reject control. The G435's mic mute button has been removed from the bottom of the left earcup and moved to a more sensible location on the fold-out mic boom. In its place is a slider switch for the power. The G435 could easily bump into things when carried in a backpack, accidentally powering on, so this new switch is a tremendous improvement. While the G435 lacked any media control, the Vibe has a play/pause/next track button on the right ear cup, another improvement. To hold the headest for travel, the Vibe comes with a cloth bag with a tiny inner pouch to hold both the USB dongle and the A-to-C adapter. It doesn't fold up or collapse down, so it's still not very convenient to stuff in a backpack. And like the G435, As the headset has no adjustment other than the headband sliding. The earcups don't pivot, except the flex of the plastic. As comfort is subjective to your head shape, this may or may not matter to you. I found them to pinch in, especially when wearing glasses. To customize the sound settings on the Vibe you have to use Logitech's companion application, available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. I would have preferred being able to do this on the headphones themselves, through control button sequences, but no dice. The companion app is also required to update the headset's firmware. Oddly, both the USB and Bluetooth connection systems seem to have their own firmware. Upon first use, I connected it to my computer over USB and checked for updates. Sure enough, it said the unit needed an update and proceeded to download and install it. After that, the software said there was another update, but couldn't complete it even after repeated attempts and powering the headset on and off. Yanking the USB dongle and connecting over Bluetooth finally applied the other update. Weird So compared to Logitech's own G435, the Vibe is a big improvement. However, it's also significantly more expensive. As of this writing, Logitech wants $130, which is frankly too much for what the Vibe offers. The Vibe doesn't perform near as well as other headsets in its price range due to its lag issues, absence of active noise cancelling, and lack of any of hi-def Bluetooth codecs. Compared to models with similar performance, the Vibe is far more expensive. It's stuck in a middle ground where it doesn't know exactly what it's supposed to be, a common situation for products that try to be a one-size-fits-all solution. For the price of a Vibe, you could get a basic Bluetooth headset or buds for your music and phone calls on the go and another headset specifically for your work desk, and both would do their respective jobs just as well, if not better, than the Vibe.

      Hello Jaron,
I am sorry that the Zone Vibe 125 is not meeting your expectations. The Zone Vibe 125 is specifically made for productivity and audio files, but it is not a replacement or substitute for any Logitech headset, including the G435. In addition, many of the issues you described should be fixed by sinking your device with the Logi Tune app. Contact the Logitech support team if you continue experiencing issues after following the recommended steps. Logitech appreciates your product review. - Leo from Logitech

What can I say, when it comes to computer peripherals, I would argue that Logitech has become the de facto standard. If you're buying a mouse, it's Logitech, keyboard, Logitech, speakers, Logitech, headphones, Logitech. Why? Because they do it well, and here is no excuse. To start, the packaging is straightforward, a simple box containing the headset, the wireless dongle, the charging cord and a carrying bag. I would argue that the carrying bag is pointless as who is going to walk around with a headset of this size, but I digress. The headphones themselves are solid and well made without being heavy, I appreciate the hidden boom mic that you can fold down from the front and that disappears almost entirely when not needed. The charging port is USB Type-C which everything should be these days, so it's good to see Logitech embracing this in these headphones, really there's nothing to complain about as it relates to the design and construction. I do wish there was a dock for it rather than having to use a wire, but I also understand that's usually in headsets that are more expensive than this one. Overall it's a clean looking and comfortable headset. Connecting was a breeze, plug in the dongle and go. The battery life is immense, with normal use I am not having to charge them but every 3-4 days. The documentation states 18 hours of battery life and I would have to say it's pretty accurate and very welcome. I never have to worry about picking them up and finding them dead with that much life. The sound is very good. I would say it's not the best I've ever experienced, but definitely very good. Again this isn't necessarily a 'premium' headset, so at this price range it definitely holds its own. The range is good as well, since it uses a dongle instead of Bluetooth, I find that I can navigate most of my home without losing connectivity, which is a bonus. That said, the headset DOES support Bluetooth, but since I'm using it with my PC, I prefer the dongle for the stability of connection and range. If you're in the market for a headset with some serious range (when using the USB dongle), has a clean look, tons of battery life and very good sound, this is what you need. The hidden boom mic is a bonus for me, as it can be used in Discord or any other VOIP software or with your phone as needed. I heartily recommend this.

The Logitech Vibe 125 headset is easy to set up with no software required. Although the LogiTune desktop app is very helpful if you want to fine tune your headset. The headset itself is light at less than 200 grams. The reason why it is so lightweight is because of the material of the headset. The mesh material make the headset light, but I feel, gives it a cheap feel to the headset. It comes with a nice little pouch so it can travel with you without worry of damage to the headset. The headset sounds great with crisp clear audio. That is until you enter a call where the headset sounds muffled. When entering a call while using the headphones on stereo, the audio will be cut out. That is my only problem with this headset. The bass is decent but not too great. The combination of a light headset and good audio quality make you feel immersed in the audio. The noise cancellation feature lives up to its name, it does a pretty good job for the price. Again my only knock on this headset is that the materials give it a cheap feel to them. Overall, I would recommend these if you are wanting an everyday headset that provides good sound and you can carry with you and aren't too concern about the look.

As far as headsets are concerned, I have found most of the time they are a personal preference. Some are good for gaming. Some are good for work. Some are good for watching movies. In the case of the Logitech Zone 125 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones, you have a headset that could handle any of these environments. Connecting to the PC is easy. The headphones come with a low-profile dongle which plugs into the USB port on your computer. After that, you should just be able to power on the headset, and you are ready to go. The headset is Bluetooth capable. This is useful since most new computers (PC and Mac) don’t come with USB ports for the dongle. Also, you can use these with a mobile phone if you like. Pairing to a phone is quick and easy as well. When you put the headset on, you will immediately notice it is lighter than what you would maybe expect. The lightweight is good if you need to wear these for an extended period. I really liked the comfort. I especially liked that Logitech did not have a head band to adjust fit. The mesh fabric earmuffs did not seem to get too hot after extended wear. The battery life is also very good. You can use these for business in the day and still have power for gaming or a movie at night. I had no problems with getting a full day use out of the headset. Once you start using it, the sound quality is quite good. Some people who are particularly picky about how music and movies sound might complain a bit overall, but the quality is good enough for most. And while you can game with these, again advanced gamers may want something else. But for most, these should be fine. For business calls, the noise cancelling feature is good. It cuts out the background things well and allows you to be heard clearly. Plus, you can flip the mic to mute yourself which is a nice feature to have. In the end, I enjoyed the Logitech Zone Vibe 125 headphones. They are great for business but can also handle many other applications. I recommend these headphones for people looking for a solid business headphones that can do a lot more.

The Logitech - Zone Vibe 125 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Noise-Canceling Microphone have 40MM speaker drivers that deliver a crisp and clear sound with the proper amount of bass. I have no problem with the Logitech - Zone Vibe 125 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Noise-Canceling Microphone itself, but the Logi Tune app that is supposed to calibrate my audio with equalizer settings and optimize my audio for various styles did not work. Apparently, there is another app somewhere installed on my phone that is blocking Google Play from allowing the Logi tune app from working properly. Even without the ability to fine tune my Logitech - Zone Vibe 125 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Noise-Canceling Microphone with the Logi Tune app, I am still able to pair with my android device and use all of the functions correctly. The Logitech - Zone Vibe 125 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Noise-Canceling Microphone are lightweight and comfortable around my head and great for travel.

I have to admit I am a bit picky when it comes to headsets. I know bluetooth is not as great as a wired set but it is sure close to me. I am no way an audiophile and I do like my sounds to be clear and concise. I do not need thumping bass heavy music or sounds. That is why I have a surround sound for lol. I pretty much like the entire kit in this instance. Beginning with the unboxing experience, it is very minimal in regards to packaging. I believe that the box and packaging materials used are upcycled or recycled materials, which was cool in my opinion. You will find the usb c wire and an actual pouch included! And the pouch as a little pocket to put the usb dongle in for transport! I mean that attention to detail needs to be given proper attention in addition to the recycled materials used by Logitech. I do applaud them for taking the extra steps here. The headphones itself feel nice and premium. Not to mention lightweight on the ears. The connection was pretty instant. I used the dongle to connect here. Oh I forgot to mention, that the flaps on the box also had general instructions to connect the headset as well. I mean you can download or go to the logi site to get them, but it's really plug and play. You also have the option to connect via bluetooth if the dongle doesn't work. The sound is crystal clear and while using teams and webex, the hear me clearly. The flip to mute mic is always a great feature and overall, the headphones are super light so that makes wearing them pretty much all day long is not an issue.
