Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl, is played by a very young Natalie Portman, & I believe this is her first movie role. Léon, a professional assassin, is played by Jean Reno. After the young girls family is murdered. Léon inadvertently takes Mathilda under his wings as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade. This also stars a very young Gary Oldman as a corrupt DEA agent and Danny Aiello as a mobster that give León his jobs. Also noteworthy, this movie is directed by Luc Besson.

One of my favorite 90's movies with Natalie Portman as a young star. This steelbook version is a wonderful value in blu-ray format.

This movie is a modern classic. Great characters, great acting, intriguing and unique story. And the blu-ray does it all great justice with the highest quality picture & sound and a great set of special features. You can't go wrong with this one.

If I am not mistaken, this is natalie portman's on screen debut, and also the movie that jump started her career. Jean Renot is great in this movie, as is Gary Oldman. Had this on dvd, but HAD to get it on blu ray. Audio and video quality are awesome on blu ray!

All be it getting a little long in the tooth I still find this offering to be very fun and enjoyable to watch. If you have never seen it. It's fun to see Natalie Portman at the beginning of her career (She was 13 when she co-stared in this.

Leon comes from the same director of the modern action movie classic Taken. I would argue it is better than Taken. It has superior acting, action set pieces, and a better story. Highly recommended if you like great action along with good characters and plot.

Many people don't realize that most of the 4K titles released are blu-ray upconverts, this classic movie is not, it is true 4K and it looks and sounds amazing! One of my favorite films of all time is finally done right. Get it now!

Very well done even if Gary Oldman is a bit over the top. Natalie Portman's first movie. Very interesting interaction between Natalie Portman and Jean Reno. Almost disturbing at times. I would love to see a sequel.

Leon (Luc Besson) a professional Hit Man takes in and protects her from a crocked Narcotics officer played by Gary Oldman. Well spent time watching this great film! It also stars Danny Aiello and a very young Natalie Portman

One of the best movies with a great story to boot. Just beautiful. Loved every minute from beginning to end. A must buy and comes with both versions on digital Download.

An Absolute Great Classic movie transfer into 4K to add to my Library. This is a must purchase to start your collections. Great sound effects and film.

This movie is a cult classic for a reason! The acting is phenominal, the action is very tightly directed and tense, and the writing keeps pulling you into the world of the movie. Had a great time watching this, especially on Blu-Ray!

Some older movies I suspected wouldn't look all the great in 4k. The Professional is not the case. I was blown away how good the picture looked for it being an older movie. If you like this movie and are on the fence...grab it!

Leon was a mastered in 4K Blu ray, but this Ultra HD 4K blows that version away. this is from a native 4k transfer and it is so sharp and colors are bold the HDR10 is very good. This is also a great story a must own 4K disc

I bought this movie after hearing a reference about it in an Alt-J song. Kind of a spontaneous purchase. I didn't really expect much but I was blown away. A phenomenal performance from a young Natalie Portman. This movie was touching and entertaining.

Love this movie, always have. If you haven’t seen it, get it or rent it. Very good and touching story. Love the connection with the actors/characters.

This is for the remastered version of Leon The Professional. They did a great job on this with both the video and amazing sounding Atmos audio. If you are a fan of this movie it is well worth upgrading from an older version on blu-ray.

This blu of the professional is pretty solid and looks fantastic. There isn't any crazy bonuses except for a few shorts included but having the director's cut and theatrical is pretty nice. If you can score this for a cheap price, well worth it!

This movie is a classic! I am very impressed with the steel book cover art. It was shipped initially with damage to the steel book, however Best Buy return policy was very simple and the shipping was free. Wonderful service!
