An upscaled-to-4K release. Nevertheless, the results are quite impressive. Universal's previous 1080p transfer stands apart as one of the finer on its format, yielding remarkable balance of detail and color with outstanding clarity as the hallmarks.

There is nothing better than watching a well done true story. Mark and supporting cast in this one were spectacular. During the credits you are introduced to the real men and it does nothing more than to give you pride in our Armed Forces. Must see!

Lone Survivor is a very intense movie based on real life events that occurred in Afghanistan. You get to really see what Navy Seals have to go through to be the best of the best. The movie may be too graphic for some as it does not pull any punches. Overall though an excellent movie.

This is a great military movie to watch and see what navy seals go through! Not recommend for younger children due to violence and language, which is expected. But overall it keeps you wondering what will happen to these poor men! A very good movie! I recommend this movie for others!

I love this movie. It has a lot of action, but most of all, it really makes you think and realize that men and women go through this all the time. What they sacrifice and have to go through is truly amazing, and we can't thank them enough as a country. This movie was simply amazing.

This is a very good movie about a true mission in Afghanistan. I like it because it shows non-military people what our men in uniform do, how well they do it, and that not every mission is perfect. It also portrays that not all Afghani citizens are the enemy. Definitely recommend.

Another great Mark Wahlberg movie, he is one of the best actors out there today. Great action movie, fast paced, the title gives away the ending but you really sympathize with what these soldiers went through during combat. Its a sad move int he end knowing that it is a true story.

it was a sad story of the rules of engagement and how it can so easily compromise those that serve the country and put themselves in harms way for the sake of others back in the US. but very realistic movie and very nicely done to recreate and honor those that died in that battle.

I'm not big on Army/War movies, maybe because my step dad was in the service and those types of movies are a lil painful, but this film is by far one of the BEST films about servicemen and really captured the look an feel of what men and women encounter. It brought me to tears.

This was a great movie from beginning to the end. It touched my heart and soul. The movie had me sitting on the edge of my seat in suspense. The title of the movie gives the ending away but you still pull for everyone to return home safely. The action was non stop and believable.

I can not say enough about this movie! This by far is the most dramatic and emotional movies i have ever seen. I am not the teary eyed type and i am not ashamed to say that by the end of this movie i was crying like a baby. One of the best if not the best movie i have ever seen.

THE NOT SO GOOD .... i HAVE RETURNED / EXCHANGED THE BLU RAY 3 TIMES THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF POOR COMPRESSION ... TRANSMISSION AKA PIXELATION OR WHATEVER ITS REFERRED TO ... I KNOW BLU RAY PALYER IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER ... HAD TO EXCHANGE 3RD TIME WAY ACROSS TOWN JUST TO GET DECENT COPY & STILL HAD MINOR PIXEL PROBS AFTER 1.25 HRS IN TOO BAD .... GET ONE IF YOU CAN GET A PLAYABLE COPY ON BLU RAY

I remember seeing it a few years back and now that it's on 4K, it's a nicer addition to my movie library. It's a little hard to watch with how beaten and bruised the characters get as it progresses, but it's a worthwhile watch nonetheless.

Good presentation based on true acts bravery of our dedicated soldiers who are serving to protect our freedoms, helps to keep these heroes in our thoughts. We must never forget those who serve in harm's way for our nation. Real true heroes, not movie fiction action 'heroes'.

Action throughout...this Movie tells the unbelievable story of Seals in action and their Selfless acts throughout...this is a must have movie. We owe our Servicemen much for what they have been through for the previous many years in combat...buy this and see their heroic acts!

Based on a true story, these soldiers are American heroes. The events of the heroic soldiers unfold and you are left trying to anticipate their next move and whether they will be rescued.

It shouldn't take a movie to show people the sacrifice our men and women go through to serve our country. This movie depicts the brotherhood we have for each other and sacrifices we are willing to make for each other. Next time you see a veteran no matter what age thank them.

Based on a true story but you can see all the emtions that they went thru and you feel them yourself.....the anger, the hope, the adrenaline, the pain and the sadness...it all tells of the countless stories that soldiers have from putting their lives at risk for our freedoms.

Being that me an my husband are both military, I thought this movie was very well made. Though we are not special forces, I can see this being very realistic. It was a great movie and it made appreciate our military even more for the sacrifices and dedication they give daily!
