This is a great Movie about 4 war hero's that were on a secret mission and things go so wrong and turns into a survival. It was compelling and give you a real understanding of what Soldiers are facing at a moments notice. My wife and I have watched it serveral times.

An outstanding movie, not just about the war aspect and what we go through , but the closeness and brotherhood that shows what we will do for one another. It also shows the pride, courage and honor we have when fighting for some ones freedom and for our COUNTRY......

I am a big fan of Mark Walberg. I'm not a big war movie fan, but I did enjoy this movie. It had a lot of action, which kept my interest. I didn't find it too bloody, though someone told me it was. Based on a true story. A must see if you like this type of movie.

I would have given it all 5 stars, but like usual book was much much better! I understand that they had to cut off almost half of the book (the first half of the book which covers the Navy Seals training), but the part covered in the movie has also been altered in the movie. Most of it not much: But like the Afghan who found him was not Mohammad Gulab. The fights with the Taloban once Gulab and the village takes him in is also altered. But over all a great great movie!

bought as a fathers day gift for my husband by my kids. he was thrilled to get it. he had been waiting to see it and we couldn't beat the price. great plot and acting. would definitely recommend the movie.

I am currently in the service not as an elite soldier like this movie portrays but am considering moving into the special forces branch. No movie can portray what happens but this does a wonderful job just like American Sniper. Every american should watch it.

Such an intriguing movie! After watching the movie, I had to get the book! I think the actors did an amazing job, especially after watching the behind the scenes parts. The rigorous training & making sure they did the actual people justice was just wonderful!

Throughout most of the movie, you are trying to figure out how he is going to make it through such a tough ordeal. To experience a little of what he had to go through first hand really puts you in the moment throughout the entire movie!

This is a good movie that brings home what our military does to protect our country and the sacrifices they and their families make. This movie is based on true events and does a great job depicting what actually happened. I enjoyed the interview with the one survivor. The Seal’s training is among the toughest in the world and I wish they had gone into more depth with that. There are several books (fiction) that really describe the training and life of a Navy Seal.

This movie was great and proved to be much better than I had initially anticipated. The acting was top notch and made you feel as if you were right there in the middle of the action. I would highly recommend this movie as a reminder of what our troops go through.

The wife and I watched it one evening, I'm a big war flick fan not because of blood and guts but more for the human drama and what war is really like. I felt the story to be mostly factual but with only one survivor who knows. I still recommend it as a must see.

This is an excellent movie! Worth buying! Saw this movie in theatre and made me cry. I had to to go out and purchase it! You will not regret this purchase! It's sad and full of action and suspense. If you have little children, may not be suitable for them watch.

Read the book. Wanted to see how close the movie was to the book. Still can't figure out how they did the action scenes. Proceeds from the movie, not sure how much, goes to the survivors. That was part of the reason for buying the movie. To support our troops.

This movie was a great true story about the current war going on in the Middle East and how not all Middle Easterns are not against the Americans. The realism of the war was pretty scary, but ther were some scenes where I was surprised they did not die sooner.

One of the best war movies. Excellent acting & action . Doesn’t disappoint. I had been waiting for this movie to be in stock & on sale. 4K is awesome . Picked up at Best Buy on sale.

My step father is retired and not enough good military movies come on tv I like that I can always get what I want in store or by ordering I tell everyone to check you out first save the time of running around to stores who won't give you service this great

I enjoyed this @ the movies so decided to get the 4k version. I was impressed with the overall visual quality of the movie, especially closeups. When viewing the blood and injuries up close is when the extra resolution really shows up. The sound was pretty awesome too. With a good surround sound setup you really feel like your in the action.

This 4K movie is action packed to begin with, but when it’s played on a 4K, 75’, Samsung tv the action is by far the most intense I’ve ever experienced. The clearness of every different shade of colors is out of this world.

A must see movie to understand what a true hero is in America. Hero is not one that plays football for 20 million a year. A hero is someone who defends our rights to live free and without worry. Thank you to all our Military and special forces especially.

A great movie to honor the men who fought and sacrificed in the war against terror in Afghanistan. The book "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell which the movie is based on is a must read to get the full story of his experience and the events that occurred.
