This was the first 4K movie I have watched on my 4K tv and it did not disappoint. I saw this movie in the theatre and watching it at home gave me the near same experience. Good movie, good quality and would definitely recommend this.

movie hits close to home. great story. shot beautifully. and acted well. if you like action movies or you have a connection to the military and fighting for your country, this is going to be up your alley. the 4K transfer shows.

Very well done film with an obvious respect from all involved to the subject matter. I watched another film "Murph the Protector", which bios in documentary style the SEAL team leader, Murphy. If some of that character development on the 4 key players could have been worked into the plot it would have had a little more depth. As it is, it's still good but more of an action film than a historical film. That is the main reason I gave it 4, not 5 stars.

My husband wanted this movie for a while so when I found it I purchased it for him. I did not expect it to be so good. It tells a true story of what our Navy seals experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent movie. What made this movie better was the fact that bestbuy made the movie available at a decent price. This movie placed a person on the inside of the action. Really a wake call. Gives you an a appreciation for the United States Navy Seals.

This is a must see, action packed, great movie. A real look inside of the struggles and sacrifices the men and women of our military face. These men are HEROES! Thank you to all of our military vets and families! Your sacrifices are NOT unappreciated!

Lone Survivor is about Marcus Luttrell, a member of a Seal team sent in to a war zone to find and do some surveillance on a presumed terrorist. Of the 4 members sent in, Luttrell ends up being the only one that survives... this movie portrays all the stuff that happened to Luttrell and his team while on the mission. Its sad to see the loss of life but when in the military, its one of the very possible realities that soldiers face on a daily basis.

The movie was better than I expected. It seemed to stay true to the based on a real story part. Nothing seemed to be over the top impossible. Not like the movies where 100 bad-guys are shooting and the one guy they are shooting at never even gets hit.

Lone Survivor with Mark Wahlberg is an outstanding, excellent movie which is based on true acts of courage. It is intense from the beginning to the end! The additional features, along with the interviews, adds to the awesomeness of this Blu-ray disc!

Follow the book pretty close. Great movie, but don't watch it with your kids...unless you want them running around saying "F" words. I don't know why Hollywood can't figure out that they don't need to put in F words all the time to make a movie good.

In theaters and at home this movie is so intense. Whether you're a war film person or not you'll enjoy it and it leaves you thinking. I'm little surprised by some of the scenes but when you base a film on true events you can't leave anything out.

This has been one of the best military based films in some time. Following the true accounts of Operation Red Wings. The actors really took to the members they portrayed but the director kept the film grounded as opposed to turning it all hollywood.

War movie fans definitely have to pick up this movie. Great acting and the action sequences are brutal and absolutely realistic. The movie looks incredible on a big screen LED tv. Whalberg is great, not a huge fan of his but loved him in this movie.

This has to be one of the best war movies I have seen period. Now Saving Private Ryan is one exception for sure. But otherwise there are not many. Just loved the story, the realism, what these men went through and how they were really like brothers.

Pretty good movie. Some Blu Rays and DVD's are of low quality. The discs are thinner and the packaging is not as resilient to damage to the disc inside. This Bluray/disc was of good quality at a reasonable price. Keep up the quality.

Great movie that I saw in the theater and even better now at home with 4k. For only $14.99 on the latest sell it was a no brainer to add to my 4k movie collection that is slowly growing thanks to great sales at Best Buy.

Heart felt.. Also there are alot of movies out there that need to combine their movie Sound track and their Movies into one package for the price the movies are offered for..more attractive.

Awesome movie and a must have for collectors of war movies. The story is just heart wrenching and the actors did a great job portraying the characters. Really loved the camera angles and the way it felt like you were jumping off cliffs with them!

Based on the true story of a group US Navy SeAL operators on a botched mission which ended in disaster. I felt the pain as the SeALs were under attack & trying to stay alive. If you own Act of Valor or Black Hawk Down, add this to your collection.

Everyone should honor our veterans and buy this movie as some proceeds support the cause. The story behind this operation is likely not alone, but i am thankful every day for their bravery.
