I was very pleased with this UHD disc. The picture quality is excellent. I enjoyed the boost in detail and color that HDR provides. The movie is excellent as well, and I would highly recommend this UHD disc!

This was a war movie which I love because I am a veteran. Mark Wahlberg is one of my favorite actors and he was perfect as the star. This was great action movie and the Blu-Ray made it even better. The price was also great !

This movie doesn't pull any punches when it comes to the action or the pain of these men went through to survive. If you're in action fan then you'll like this movie if you like the book lone survivor you'll like this movie.

I never read Marcus Luttrell's book about Navy SEALS special ops in Afghanistan but this movie told his story in a very intense and humanistic manner. A group of career military professionals on a secret mission blow their cover and are caught in a moral dilemma involving some innocent Afhan locals. If you liked ACT OF VALOR, THE HURT LOCKER and the HBO miniseries GENERATION KILL you will love this film.

Was really pleased to get this for Father's Day. I've had the pleasure of meeting Marcus Luttrell at his book signings and couldn't wait until the movie came out. It is a very good recollection of what happened in the book.

Best movie I watched so far this year! Blue ray option is excellent due to the graphic nature of this film. This movie has plenty to offer for all different types of viewers. Nobody will be disappointed after watching this!

This is a must see! Great movie that portrays real American Heroes! Emotionally gripping...real action packed that will leave you humbled and thankful for what the men and women of all military services do for our country!!

A true story with truth to tell. Learn, see and visualize what our soldiers experience at the frontline. An amazing movie worth being in any collectors collection.

...though I don't know how accurate it is. Read wikipedia and judge for yourself. But, if you want a war movie with a high body count in high def with great sound, this is right up your alley.

This movie has it all to depict what it must be like to be in those positions, to be at the frontline of war. It made you feel for all the Armed forces, and appreciate everything they do or have to do to protect and serve.

This movie helps define what our service men and women are going through....I think it's great that Americans are honoring our troops as they return from some very brutal experiences. May God help them find some peace.....

Without this film, most people would never have know the heroic actions of the navy seals, they would have just been a kill count. Their story would have not been told. Thank you for making this film and telling the story.

As a Navy veteran of a different era in military history, war movies are compared in my mind against a different standard. This was not an easy story to tell and was a good effort. Civilians generally don't get it, and probably never will but the effort to educate them is necessary and worthy. This is a well told story even though a lot of detail was necessarily left out to make a screen play.

A very good movie. I like movie where the action does not stop. I use to be in the military. Thus, I felt a connection while watching it. Then again, for those not in the military u will get a chance to see military LIFE.

I really wanted to like this movie more, but for some reason I just can't. When the book came out, before I knew anything of the story, the author was signing autographs at the Norfolk Navy Exchange. Maybe I got the impression that it's just a money-making endeavor. Either way, decent battle scene, albeit a little over-done. Just not a favorite of mine, sorry.

This was a great film and it was shot well taking into consideration the terrain and the type of movie it is. It is really fun and you connect with the characters immediately. The casting was great and so was the acting.

As gut wrenching, heartbreaking and emotional as this movie may be...it's worth watching. Watch the special extras...adds so much more to the movie. Thumbs way up!

No one can prepare for all the possibilities of war. Suspenseful telling of what a soldier faces when everything possible goes wrong, and what he can achieve when driven by an overwhelming desire to survive.

Overall I thought the story was pretty compelling. All politics aside - the subject matter is tough to deal with when you consider all the death that is dealt out. I think it's worth the purchase price especially if you can get it on sale - BluRay are still pretty spendy when they first come out (and so is movie going which is why I usually opt for media purcahses so I can enjoy it over-and-over).

This is a good move and what makes it even better is the fact that it is a true story. The Blu-Ray has a very clear picture.
