Excellent storyline and filming. Wahlberg doing an excellent acting job in this role. Very emotional watching this as it's like you are there experiencing what is happening on screen.

Purchased this movie after having seen it in theaters. Wasn't sure if it was going to be a movie I'd watch on a regular basis, but it has provided to be a good go to movie. The plot is full of friendship, family and the struggle to survive. Our service men have done so much for our country, it's good movies like this that help understand that, no matter how detached we are from it all.

These new 4K Blurays really do live up to the hype. Not only with the increased resolution but even more so with the colors. These HDR movies make a normal bluray look like an old DVD from 2000.

The story and the movie are very compelling. I wish they had not added to the ending as it is not needed. That said, still worth watching and very exciting. The action is incredible and the sacrifice incredible.

The movie was very good. I can understand the lone survivor, but did not like some of the surrounding events to get to that point. However, that is war, unfortunately. The story line was very good and the actors did a great job. Overall, the movie was done well and is part of my collection.

This was a high quality movie that will leave you mesmerized! Everything was awesome....the action, video quality and impactful audio. The acting was awesome as i had empathy for characters! This is a must buy!

Truly an inspirational movie about the tight bonds of brotherhood and selfless sacrifice. Highly recommend to watch the director, cast and crew did an excellent job on this piece. If you have seen it go get it.

The title of this movie, "Lone Survivor" made me think it was going to a direct to blu ray type of movie. Well, I was wrong and Mark Wahlberg definitely was the right actor for this role. Very realistic action and drama molded into a devastating war zone of a movie. Great acting, directing, and cinematography. Lone Survivor is a movie worth buying to see again and let others borrow.

One of the best movies I've seen recently. Worth buying. Great story line, based on a true story and will keep you glued to the screen. Makes you appreciate the sacrifices our military makes for us every day.

Excellent movie, that holds true to fact except for in a few areas. I wish more military movies could show this side what these men/women do for us everyday.

Wow! What an excellent movie. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat, you will be wanting more. I have to say one of the best war movies I have seen in a while. This is also based on a true story.

True life story being told from the aspect of the lone survivor, which pays respect to his fellow Seals. No holds bar on the extremes of modern warfare that these individuals went through. Excellent to watch.

I was really impressed how well the movie covered his true story. The director asked him to be sure to let him know if anything was not the way it happened,

Lone Survivor is an effective, emotional story about a small band of soldiers. It really hits home with its emotional tone and allows for the viewers to really feel and experience the harsh realities of war.

If you are prior Military or love Military action movies then this is the movie for you! i have seen this in Blur-Ray however, i bought the 4K version to build up my 4K library content.

Wow. Nonstop action. Will definitely leave you speechless during and end of the movie. Really makes you appreciate everything our soldiers do and sacrifices they make. Highly recommend this film to everyone.

I did enjoy the movie, I just didn't like some of the outcomes. I didn't agree with some of the choices the soldiers and their commanders made, which contributed to the deaths of way too many soldiers...and the fact that it was a true story meant that other choices could have been made. The acting was outstanding, as well as the cinematography...and at least it had a good ending!

This is one of the best movies I have had the privledge in seeing. The sacrifice of our men and women, in this movie men are truly shown. If you need to understand thier sacrifice take in this amazing movie.

Lone Survivor is a must see for anyone interested in true Military History. The action is intense and based upon actual events which although sad is a testimony to the spirit of the American Serviceman.
