One of the best war movies ever made and I think one of the longest movies to but great movie.

Grew up watching this movie and seeing what the people went through on that day. My dad never talked about his experiences that day.

"The Longest Day" holds up remarkably well at this late date. The Blu-ray transfer is a little artificial, but offers more enjoyable viewing than the murky-looking DVD version. The extras on Zanuck's vision and the movie's history make this a great buy at under $10.

An amazing movie leading up to D-Day. Very talented actors recreate the strategy and moving parts involved. A must for history buffs.

I love this movie. I watch it every Memorial Day and around the Fourth of July. I’m glad they released a steelbook version.

This movie was the Saving Private Ryan of the 60's with an all star cast and multiple directors, stands as a classic then and now!

The Longest Day the movie gives the viewer a great overview of the planning and execution of Operation Overlord. Extras give nice featurettes about the troubles surrounding the making of the movie. Particularly the conflict concerning production of a rival studio movie - Cleopatra.

Great stars and a very intertaining movie of the D-Day landing during WWII and the fighting in Europe to defeat the Germans.

Remember watching this when I was a kid with my dad. One of my favorite older shows to watch. Try it and you'll enjoy it too.

I have watched this a number of times on local TV. I was happy to find a Blu Ray copy I could own and watch at my leisure.

This movie may be long by some standards but you'll never notice. The stories are riveting. It's a movie classic. A must-see movie.

Outstanding classic movie with a huge cast of stars. I only wish there would be a colorized version. Still, a must see war movie.

This is probably the best war movie about the D Day invasion, excellent worldwide cast. Covers both the Allied side and the German side.

the movie was always good but the upgrade to blue ray was great really clear like seeing the movie for the first time.
