    Based on the book by the same name, the film goes through the events of June 6 1944. Most male actors of note if the era are in the film. It set the bar for films that would follow such as “Saving Private Ryan”.

    Bought this as a gift, but I haven't seen the film itself. The BluRay packaging was pretty great though, and the feedback I've received from the recipient of the gift has been good - so, supposedly a pretty good WW2 flick!

    I watched this film as a recommendation from my dad, and man was it AWESOME. Featuring a star-studded cast, the realism in this movie is uncanny. Ended up buying this a gift for my dad for Christmas!
