Got this movie for a gift. Why does Cage keeps on acting? Oh yeah! I remember why! I can't find a saving grace to it.

I had avoided this movie because I figured it would be another drug-running, people-dying, no plot movie. However one day I was forced to watch it and was surprised at how entertaining the movie was. It was both funny and sad and made it very easy for you to understand Nicolas Cage's career as a weapons dealer. It has twists and turns that keep you interested throughout.

This is a great movie, my wife and I love it! It shows you ins and outs of gun and weapon selling, and where and how other countries get thier weapons. Even though this movie has some dark comedy, it still makes powerful statement. I highly recommend this film! Also, some other good Nicolas Cage movies to come out recently are Next, Bangkok Dangerous, and Knowing.

Lord of war is an action packed comedy mixed in with some drama. This is a movie about a young man that has dreams of making a lot of money. His first sale was a pair of Israeli made Uzi's which he almost died from, but with a bit of humor saved his life. In the end he has a chance to keep from losing everything. But will he take it?

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The plot is interesting, the movie interweaves drama with dark humor. It is sad, funny, horrifying. The movie is quite entertaining. Definitely not for children.

Great movie that shows what happens when gunrunners sell weapons to countries that are ignorant to the effects of them. Hits home at the end when Nicholas Cage goes free.

Well played by all actors. Realistic scanarios of third world and communist regimes. True to life ending. Get this for your next movie.

I was expecting more from this cast, but was disappointed. The movie basically repeats the same process over and over again until he finally gets caught, but by then the movie has dragged on for so long that you never really feel a climax. Instead, you just know that this is suppose to be a big moment. I know they were trying to send a message with this one, but it was poorly delivered.

I like Nicholas Cage, but this movie was in poor taste.
