Watching the original TV series of Lost in Space is humorous and enjoyable. Very good adapting it to DVDs.

This DVD set is fantastic. There aren't many special features (although the original pilot included is pretty great - a pre-Dr. Smith show), but the restoration is excellent, particularly when the show went from black & white to color in its second season. It's also fascinating to watch how Jonathan Harris became the clear star of the show by the fifth or sixth episode, and how the Will/Robot relationship grew. A couple of the shows are good sci-fi; but most are showcases for Jonathan Harris's wily, deceitful, self-serving and hysterically funny Dr. Smith. I haven't seen these since I was a kid, but so many episodes stuck in my mind. If you're a person of a "certain age," i.e., baby boomer, you'll love this wildly creative and entertaining show.

Great seeing this classic tv show with such a quality picture.

Even though this series was before I was born, it brings back memories as a kid of watching re-runs. It's amazing how cheesy the special effects are, but still can't stop watching it!
