The case is easy to carry on my belt and keep my hands free when not using the camera. If I drop the camera when in the case it is well protected.

The camera does fit this carrier, and it does offer excellent padding. It is a tight fit, and makes removal and return difficult

I was taking a trip and needed an accessible camera pouch that I could attach to my molle tactical bag. I looked all over the store and could NOT find a pouch that connected via Velcro strap. I found this and even though it was obvious that the product is made to strap to your belt, I was sure it would fit the bag. I purchased the case, took it home, and sure it enough it fit. The way the Velcro envelopes both sides ensures that the only way that strap is coming loose is if YOU take it off. Fantastic product, just wished there was more variety.

Very sturdy and good protection for your camera. 2 zippers make it confusing to open when in a hurry, but otherwise, great product for the money.
