It would be better if it had a shoulder strap fo9r those of us who don't want to put it on our belts. I am not sure how much protection it affords if the case were to be accidentally dropped since it lacks significant padding.

Very difficult to zip up and close while on the belt due to the front pulls away from the back when trying to zip it shut on the belt. Had to replace it with a different design.

Nice Carry Case

It's a soft case with enough room for a small cord in a separate zipped pouch. Being a new camera, I worry that the zipper may scratch the screen so I'm very careful when taking the camera out or putting it back in the bag. Overall, it'll work well for any of the newer point-and-shoot type cameras out there.
