Too bulky to fit in over stuffed camera bag. Form fitting case would work better

It is a fine case. Would have preferred one just a bit slimmer.

I selected this case specifically for my Sony WX9 digital camera, but it should fit most similar compact digitals. It was actually the only case I found that slid onto a belt (no chance of it bumping loose), and was also horizontally (landscape) oriented. The vertical cases are more in the way when trying to bend over. This case is sturdily constructed of heavy nylon mesh over some kind of shell. It offers solid protection for the camera. It zips open easily, and closes securely - no velcro to catch or snag or wear out. Interior features a soft lining to protect the contents. Also inside is a pocket on one side, and an elasticized keeper-strap on the other. I use the pocket to store an extra battery and two extra memory chips. Worked well. The strap could be used as extra security for the camera (I didn't try this), or to hold one or two extra batteries, but something as small as memory might slip out. There is not enough room in the case to keep a charger, but I was looking for a sleek, minimally-sized case for comfort, convenience, and security. I used this case to keep my camera safe and handy during a week-long sailing adventure, and it served well. It cannot be considered watertight, but it did keep light spray off of the camera. The case comes with an attachable shoulder strap, but I did not use or need it.

I enjoy and use the case and camera, only complaint is that the case won't hold the charger.

I love the case. I feel that my camera is always protected even if I drop it. It has storage that will let you keep a couple extra cards or camera accessories. The zipper seems rugged enough that it will last through many zips. I don't know if my camera is just a little bit too big for the case, but the material that keeps the case from opening all the way up gets in the way while zipping the case closed. I haven't decided if I am going to cut it out to where the case will open all the way up (which I don't think I would like because it would make it easier to drop the camera) or just tuck it in every time I zip the camera up.

Within a few days the back that goes on the belt broke. So not so good.

This case is well built and perfect for carrying around a point-and-shoot camera. This case's build is between a soft case and a hard case, that's to say that it's not entirely a soft case, nor is it entirely a hard case. I suppose the best way to describe this case's build is it's a reinforced soft case. Despite this case being more protective than a regular soft case, its size is comparable to a soft case.

Sturdy case to protect your camera from scratches if you are keeping it in a bag/purse. Overall, good use for storage but not while in use. Zipper makes it harder to remove the camera for quick use. The neck strap is not comfortable. Would prefer a wrist strap or a belt clip to attach to belt or purse easily. But it fits my canon powershot s95 and interior has an extra side pocket for additional memory cards.
