Has plenty of places to store extra items. It will hold my Nikon Coolpix, multiple filters, extra batteries, and all my camera gear, and my tripod will hook to the side. Even place for a water bottle if you outside taking pics.

I had been using a laptop bag, but part of it had ripped long ago, so it didn’t hold up very well, hence the shopping for a replacement. Looking into the Lowepro bags I really liked the adjustable storage compartments. I have a decent amount of room in this to safely transport my gear and odds and ends. Lots of room in the main compartment. I do wish the front pocket was larger. It’s more flat so it’s more limited in use. All in all no complaints on this bag, but do wish I would have splurged for the larger version of this. It seems sturdy and well made thus far.
