Great battery...holds power well for pictures or videos.

What else can I say. It works well and as advertised.

There are cheaper, no name batteries out there, but going with a Canon battery was the best choice for longevity and reliability.

I buy the Canon Batteries because of the fact that if anything went wrong with them, Canon stands by their product. I have heard from friends that have used third party batteries and the issues they have had with batteries leaking. and having to get their cameras cleaned. I have three batteries so that I have enough battery time to shoot video for a full day. It is always a good idea to have a spare battery with you that is charged. You never know when you may need it. :-)

The factory brand battery keeps its charge and works even in cold weather, it is worth the extra money

I purchased this as a standby" battery for my camera when out on assignment doing sports photography jobs. Always great to have an extra battery charged and ready to go. Another retailer had this online lower and Best Buy happily beat the lower price. Of all the retailers I've purchased my equipment from over the last few years Best Buy is ALWAYS willing to beat prices without making it a huge hassle.

I bought this battery as a replacement for my existing battery on the way to a photo shoot. It was an "Open Box" item offered at a discount! Excellent buy and an excellent product. I use it every weekend taking 300 + photos and recently returned from 4 days in Las Vegas and never once had to re-charge the battery! Very please with Best Buy and their products.

Umm ... I'm not sure what Best Buy wants me to say about it. It's a battery. It does it's job quite well. With a two-battery set-up I can typically shoot thousands of images over a few days, possibly even a week. It's great not having to swap and recharge batteries all the time. This is definitely a worthwhile investment to go along with your DSLR.

This is my third set. I have a Canon 5d Mkii and have been hammering on it for the past 4 years none stop. I bought 4 batteries when I got the camera with the power booster. And they don't hold a full charge as much. now. So I wanted to get a 3rd set for backup. Never a issued. Worth the money to get the real stuff.

I used to own another brand of batteries and it did not hold the charge. With the Canon battery I have never worried about the spare battery being charged and ready for use. I will spend several hours at a time taking pictures and usually have to swap batteries so it is very important that I have a good backup.

I've tried the off brands and found the Canon genuine batteries hold a much longer charge. They cost more but when you need power, you've got power and don't miss those crucial shots. I only buy Canon batteries for my Canon cameras anymore.

I've learned over the years that there are many times when it's okay to cut corners and go generic or off-brand, but when it comes to digital camera batteries, it's always prudent to go with the name brand. I have 4 batteries for my Canon 6D, and they are all genuine Canon batteries.

Is great when you have a extra charge for chose, price is affordable and charge fast.

I bought a spare original Canon battery for my 5DIII. It has great battery life and never gets too warm during charging, but it is pricey as it is original Canon. I used my Reward Zone Points and Best Buy Price Matching. In the end, I got a great deal on a Canon accessory.

Battery charges and allows my camera to work. Can't ask for much more than that.

Any other brands normally dont last as long as the canon batteries

The charge that the battery keeps is amazing, I have had others that drained of energy much faster. The only drawback is the price. But, for the price, you get amazing quality and that is hard to find with any product.
