    We have LG model LFXS26973D and this was the filter that is supposed to work with our fridge. Filter clicked in and turned clockwise amd flushed at least 10 gallons. Water coming out of fridge still had a chemical smell and tastes awful. TDS test shows same measurement as the tap water as if the LG water filter is not filtering any of the sediment. I am going to buy an inline water filter and hopefully that works better. I simply wasted $60 on a product that does not do what it says it should do. This is the last time im buying an LG filter and probably will not buy LG products in my next home.

    We previously had the same filter in our fridge and the water tasted wonderful. However, after ordering this one from Beat Buy, the water had an awful, chemical taste. Unfortunately it’s past the return date, so we can not return it.

    Filter not working.

    After following the installation instructions it worked well for about 2-3 weeks and then it started to signal thar I needed to replaced the water filter again. How is that possible?? We dri k water like any nirmal person. Why does it need to be replaced in less than a month?

If the water filter indicator will not reset, this may indicate that the function can only be reset every 6 months like clockwork. To reset the water filter indicator on most models, press and hold the filter button for 3-5 seconds. Refer to your owner’s manual for instructions on resetting the water filter indicator.     Expensive filter but designed for our LG refrigerator. Does not do a great job of reducing minerals from our hard water. Ice cubes are not clear.

    After about 2 and half months it no longer tastes right.. i thought buying the brand world be worth it but i was wrong. I won't do it again. The best buy essentials filter lasted incredibly longer.
