However, after ordering this one from Beat Buy, the water had an awful, chemical taste. Unfortunately it’s past the return date, so we can not return it.

If the water filter indicator will not reset, this may indicate that the function can only be reset every 6 months like clockwork. To reset the water filter indicator on most models, press and hold the filter button for 3-5 seconds. Refer to your owner’s manual for instructions on resetting the water filter indicator. Please find following a few illustration examples of various refrigerator control panel series of buttons. This is the second filter I've had and the first was even worse. I shouldn't have to filter the filter water to be able to drink it. I wished now that I never got this feature.
