    Only get my filters from BestBuy to avoid knockoffs from other online sellers. I've only found the 3D seal LG places on their filters for authenticity, that others don't have it! The only gripe I have with this filter is the amount of water I have to waste to flush out the sediments.

    Filter was purchased to replace the one that came with the refrigerator purchased new about 6 months ago. It was easy to install. Biggest concern is how long it will last. The filter that came with the new refrigerator did not last as long as ones we had for other refrigerators of another brand. From what we could tell it did well filtering the water.

    All of these filters are overpriced by the manufacturers, and that is unavoidable for consumers, but Best Buy makes it easier on us with their subscription service. I especially like being able to subscribe so that I don’t have to remember when to reorder.
