It's a water filter for the ice in the refrigerator and it makes the ice taste really good.

Filters produce very clean, good tasting water. Be sure to follow directions to flush 3 gallons of water through them. Have a gallon jug, so you can use the water to water your plants!

Best filter for any drinking water impurities. Makes great ice. This is the model that came with my LG refrigerator. No problems with water leaking in my fridge. I have tried the cheaper generic filters, but this one does a better job.

I have not had my water tested but it definitely smells and tastes better when using the filter. The only issue I have is not the filters fault but the design of the refrigerator. It is very difficult for a short person who lacks strength in their hands to replace these.

Even though I don’t want to replace the filter every six months, I do notice the difference in the taste of my water once I do replace it.

Pricey but is supposed to last six months and is necessary for clean ice. It was easy to find appropriate filter for my particular refrigerator/freezer- they are color coded. Easy to locate in my refrigerator & it's a simple twist to remove and twist to replace.
