4 to 5 star product at a 1 star price. This does make our city water taste good. AZ has terrible tasting water - like drinking through a plastic garden hose. This filter fixes that. It would also be necessary if using well water. Fridge filters are expensive and only last 6 months - basically an $80 per year taste tax.

I never liked the idea of buying individual bottles of water because of the cost and because of the environment so with the filter and regular replacement I am very happy to fill my re-usable water bottles and glasses at home and have good tasting water at a much less expensive cost.

Wanted to be sure I purchased OEM product. Did not want a knockoff of the LG water filter. Trust Best Buy to sell a true LG refrigerator water filter. Worked fine and easy to replace on my new LG refrigerator also purchased from Best Buy. Will buy again.

Replaces original filter but it is rather expensive. I think it might be a good option to look for a substitute from a second party supplier.

I like these water filter. It carries up to 6 months minimum and have good water quality.

Definitely filters water well, you can taste the difference. The instructions for removal and installation are easy to follow.

You can taste the difference after changing to a new filter. Water taste clean and crisp. I have bought this about 3 times and will continue to do so until I change the fridge.

I believed this filter does it job even though I think is kind of expensive. It need to be replaced every 6 months.

This filter is very easy to change now that I've done it a few times. It twists right on. I will say that I still get calcium deposits in my water when using this filter. But people tell me that's a good thing, because it lends to the taste of the water. I just don't like having sediment in the bottom of my glass.

This filter seems to be working just great. I purchased it as part of a new refrigerator—which I love. I bought and extra so I would have one ready when it needs to be replaced. The water and ice cubes are very clear with no after taste.
