Last approx 2 weeks and then water and ice start tasting sour and smelling odd. Nothing in the fridge is bad Geek Squad checked over the fridge and recommended new filter. Gone through 3 filters now since i bought the fridge 3 months ago. I am going to try an off name brand instead of LG. No my water isnt bad the other filer on the sink doesn't cause this problem and the regular tap water doesn't even have the odors or tastes that this filter produces. Dont buy. Easy to install and uninstall only good part.

I don’t like the taste of the water that comes from the refrigerator for drinking but it’s ok for cooking.
