    Do NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY

    Don’t ever buy this water filter from Best Buy. They only have a 15 days return policy. I normally order for pickup, however this last order was shipped and it tasted so disgusting. I thought flushing it out for a couple of weeks would help but it didn’t. Contacted Best Buy and they told me too bad, they won’t even exchange it or do anything because it was past the 15 days return policy. They’ve suggested I’ve called LG. No one ever picked up or they pick up and hangs up with LG. You don’t get anywhere with LG. So, I’ve just lost my money and had to get a new one somewhere else. Such poor service Best Buy is. Will not purchase from them again. Wasted money for nothing!

    Water tastes awful

    We previously had the same filter in our fridge and the water tasted wonderful. However, after ordering this one from Beat Buy, the water had an awful, chemical taste. Unfortunately it’s past the return date, so we can not return it.

    Normal water filter that is for the refrigerator that I purchased, average price, just a regular filter, nothing special about it.

    After following the installation instructions it worked well for about 2-3 weeks and then it started to signal thar I needed to replaced the water filter again. How is that possible?? We dri k water like any nirmal person. Why does it need to be replaced in less than a month?

To reset the water filter indicator on most models, press and hold the filter button for 3-5 seconds. Refer to your owner’s manual for instructions on resetting the water filter indicator.     Expensive filter but designed for our LG refrigerator. Does not do a great job of reducing minerals from our hard water. Ice cubes are not clear.

    I am on the subscription plan for water filters from Best Buy and the last filter i received is defective and makes the water taste like metal. I called to report it and if its longer than 14 days your out of luck.

    After about 2 and half months it no longer tastes right.. i thought buying the brand world be worth it but i was wrong. I won't do it again. The best buy essentials filter lasted incredibly longer.
