    CANCEL This subscription. I have been trying to cancel and or change this subscription for the last 31 days. The refrigerator filter is only required to be changed every 6 months so why do you send me one every month.

    This filter does minimal to improve the taste of water. I'm not sure it works.

    The came damaged and Best Buy wouldn’t accept an exchange because it was opened. I now will only order from Amazon because they will exchange no matter what - or order direct form manufacturer. Second time this happened.

    Chemical taste

    Flushed 3 gallons upon install, and water tasted horrible. No one in my family would drink it. Not so much right after you dispense it, but after the water settled (5-10 minutes), you could smell and taste that something wasn't right. Previous filter was fine, and refrigerator is only 15 months old.

    Refrigerator Filter

    We had difficulty when we received our refrigerator with the taste of the water. We tried a different filter, but it didn’t make a difference. The water still had an after taste. Went directly to LG and they sent us a new filter and now everything is fine.

    Horrible taste!!!!

    I don’t know if I have a bad filter but it taste like chemicals! We followed all of the directions to a t but nothing seems to help! It makes me sick. We have wasted money and now we only rely on the filtered water in my kitchen sink and bottles of water. I’m so dissatisfied.

    LG frig filter replacement

    Bought new filter after 6 months, now cannot even drink the water. LG Frig is 8 months old. Ice cubes are just as bad. Tastes like plastic. Awaiting resolution from company.

      Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. For the LG Water Filter. If water is tasting bad and the filter has already been replaced. Chances are it could be your water supply. There could be hard water in your area or it could be from a faulty water line. Mold, bacteria or mineral buildup could be in the water line or supply. Use a funnel to run vinegar through the water lines to the ice maker, and run vinegar through the water dispenser, as well. Make sure to have a container ready to catch the vinegar so you can discard it. Next, run clean water through the water lines for a few minutes, then reassemble the housing. If you have exhausted these method and water still seems to taste funny. We recommend you contact our LG Support Team.     I dont know what the deal is, but the water taste terrible; its undrinkable (yeah! Its that bad)

    It took 3 employees from Best Buy to install it in my refrigerator. Reviews on line showed many other people have a problem installing this product.

    This filter didn’t last for more than a month before the water and ice tasted like metal. Disappointed in the quality of the product and Best Buy’s return policy.

    Bad Filter

    I bought this filter in March and within two months the water had a bad taste two it. These are suppose to last 6 months. I did not have the same issue before when I replaced my filter. There must be a quality issue with this one.

    Water tastes terrible. We had no issue with the filter installed in our new fridge, but this first replacement gives the water a chemical taste that is hard to drink. Very disappointed.

    Our water has flavor in it. Not sure what is wrong.we even changed the filter again.

    We were sold wrong size for our LG & when we tried to return it after 30 days, no dice. It was salesmanship fault & store should have replaced with right size at no charge.

    Only one word…..bad! The water taste bad. We changed this filter two times but only was good the first that comes with the refrigerator.
