After I change the water filter my refrigerator still show that hasn’t been changed I press the reset but still show the same things is like the filter never was changed I purchased the filter January 1 2021 I payed 49.99 And my refrigerator still tell me water filter need to be replaced

This LG water filter that I’m using in my LG Refrigerator, lasts a long time after the first filter that comes with the unit. The water tastes so much better & you can tell the difference from regular tap water. I highly recommend using this LG filter & I highly recommend purchasing the LG Refrigerator too. I have been very happy with my LG Refrigerator as well as the LG water filter, I know there are some other brands of water filters that will work in this refrigerator but I do not recommend taking any chances with off brands!!
