4 to 5 star product at a 1 star price. This does make our city water taste good. AZ has terrible tasting water - like drinking through a plastic garden hose. This filter fixes that. It would also be necessary if using well water. Fridge filters are expensive and only last 6 months - basically an $80 per year taste tax.

Great filter, does what it’s supposed to do cleans our water and ice makers too.

These little filters work great with our LG refrigerator, our water is fresh and our ice cubes are do not have a film. clear drinking water. A must have for your refrigerator.

I never liked the idea of buying individual bottles of water because of the cost and because of the environment so with the filter and regular replacement I am very happy to fill my re-usable water bottles and glasses at home and have good tasting water at a much less expensive cost.

You might find several compatible water filters through other online retailers, however, please remember, you could void your warranty by using non OEM accessories. This one was a bit highly priced compared to some online retailers, however, using BestBuy's price match policy, I was able to pick it up the same day.

This filter seems to be working just great. I purchased it as part of a new refrigerator—which I love. I bought and extra so I would have one ready when it needs to be replaced. The water and ice cubes are very clear with no after taste.

Filter show last longer that 6 months, Product is to expensive to be changing every 6 months.
