    I was pleased to find this replacement filter available in the local Best Buy and that someone working in the department could help me find it. I am not pleased that it does not adequately filter the water for the ice. I recommend it only because the refrigerator won't work without it. Although I like the counter-depth, French door LG refrigerator, I regret purchasing the water dispenser/craft ice model.

    Too expensive for what it is. I'm typically a "brand name" kind of purchaser, but after replacing this $60 water filter twice a year, I looked at third party alternatives. You can purchase a three-pack WITH three air filters of a generic brand for $27. I will NEVER purchase another LG filter again. Absolutely atrocious pricing for a basic carbon filter.
