It still tastes weird, 3 weeks out. Same thing last time, too. And Yes, we flushed it following the directions after installation.

For this model, one helpful step is to ensure the filter is installed correctly and fully seated in the housing. If it’s not locked in place, water may bypass the filter and reduce effectiveness. Also, replacing the filter every 6 months (or sooner if water quality is poor) helps maintain performance. Running 2–3 gallons of water through the dispenser after installation can flush out carbon particles and improve taste. Faulty filter

Frig would not accept and reset. Went to Best Buy, bought another, it works great as they usually do. I had ordered the one that did not work on line so I returned. They sent it back to me and said it was unreturnable. Well, that was $49.00 down the drain. I do love my Lg frig with the Craft ice and knock-knock door. I have had it since January 2020 with no problems I purchased from Best Buy and do love the fresh filtered water it produces. First time I’ve ever had a problem with eithe filter, air or water.
