Bad Filter

We had no issue with the filter installed in our new fridge, but this first replacement gives the water a chemical taste that is hard to drink. Very disappointed.

Wrong One

It was salesmanship fault & store should have replaced with right size at no charge.

Not good experience so far

Posted .Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. For the LG Refrigerator. If water is tasting bad and the filter has already been replaced. Chances are it could be your water supply. There could be hard water in your area or it could be from a faulty water line. Mold, bacteria or mineral buildup could be in the water line or supply. Use a funnel to run vinegar through the water lines to the ice maker, and run vinegar through the water dispenser, as well. Make sure to have a container ready to catch the vinegar so you can discard it. Next, run clean water through the water lines for a few minutes, then reassemble the housing. If you have exhausted these method and water still seems to taste funny? We recommend you contact our LG Support Team. Faulty Frif Filter

Water Filter for LG Refrigerator

The water is filtered immediately (after the recommended disposal of a gallon) upon installation of the fridge. /The ice and water seem to be filtered very well.
