    You did it job well. You buy it plug it in. It takes a while to filter out the dirty water that’s backed up in the pipes (more than what was specified for the initial filter).

    The filter was needed for my refrig but even after removing the first gallon of water the new ice had a wierd taste. We discarded more of the water and it appeared to be ok.

    This new refrigerator is much easier to change this water filter. Although We do feel that this filter is more than three times the cost of the old unit.
